My experience with B. Borooah College.
Placements: It is a good batch with brilliant students (classmates) and quality education setup. Recently we completed a good internship at top university in various fields. Excellent and precise knowledge of botany and nature (ecology) is being studied. Next year an international level seminar will be arranged.
Infrastructure: It's somehow good. Department has good LED screens, and Wi-Fi setup which helps the students to learn anything. Hostel, canteen, and sports all are above average. Library offers very quality books, both college and department. Various types of books are available especially on science and tech.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified with various degrees, and their way of teaching and communication is good. Course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for future scope in many fields. Exams are challenging and competitive. Pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in botany and nature.

It is the topmost college in Assam Guwahati.
Placements: Since it is a government college, no companies come here for placements. It depends upon you whether you want to join any company or pursue masters. Pursuing masters after B.Sc in botany is a good choice because this field mainly deals with research activities rather than theoretical concepts.
Infrastructure: The fee is much affordable, which is Rs. 8,000 per year, and the hostel fee is approximately Rs. 18,000 per annum. Wi-Fi is not available on the campus. The indoor stadium is not available, but there is a stadium which is near to our college. You can take admission if you want or if time permits you.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. It is the best college in Assam. For getting admission here, students at least need 80-85% in HS board exam. If you want to get admission in B.Sc or any other course, then this platform works for you. Students come here from all around Assam and nearby states.
Other: Our college is situated in the hub of the city.
