Biotechnology department in our college is not good for studies.

Placements: Nearly 25% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is nearly 6 Lacs per year, average package is 3 Lacs per year and 1 Lacs is the lowest package that offered in our biotechnology course. Small recruiting companies come to our college but they don't provide a big placement to the students. Average 40% students got internship from our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are not good. I can say that there is only one teacher in our department, and he does not come regularly to our department. Our department students' study themselves for the exam. Laboratory also does not provide good equipment. But the quality of the facilities in our hostel is very good. The quality of food available in the hostel and canteen, medical facilities are pretty good. Our superintendent also takes care of us. Well sanitize food is also given to us in our dinner and lunch.

Faculty: The teachers are not helpful in nature. They are well qualified, knowledge and completed their Ph.D. in biotechnology. Indeed, the teaching quality is average. This course is not curriculum relevant. It makes students industry ready. The semester exams are very difficult for us because the course is not completed within the given time. So, we have to learn ourselves for the exams.

Other: I like molecular biotechnology and want to perform research in future in this field. So, I chose this subject as my honours paper. I think our course is one of the best subjects, which can provide a good job opportunity to a student and it helps in medical Science.
