Very nice placements with good faculty.

Placements: The very basic package is 3.5 LPA and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Caterpillar, Digital Ninja, etc. The internships should be managed by the students. About 90% of students get placed within the hiring period; the rest get placed on campus.

Infrastructure: The total campus is about 94 acres, and each department has separate buildings with Wi-Fi facilities for students to use on campus and good laboratories as well. Hostels are very well maintained with good food; every Friday evening, there are evening snacks.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly with the students, and each faculty member is either a master's degree holder or a Ph.D. Exams are conducted very strictly. There is a separate lab called the IDEA lab for students to come up with new ideas to innovate. Yes, of course, the faculty and environment prepare the students for placement.

Other: The best thing about this course is the highly qualified faculty, and every student has a faculty advisor who guides them throughout the 4 years.

Review of Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot.

Placements: In our college, almost 90% students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Continental, Tech Mahindra, Agni, Girmiti, and Infogain. Almost 60% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The library is good and it has some out-of-date books. It contains a small number of technical books. The college has both indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Our college achieved well in sports. The semester exams are a little bit difficult.

Faculty: Our college students have more theoretical knowledge and less practical knowledge. The syllabus is out of date. The course is not helpful in industry. Learning in college is completely different and working in industry is also different. Semester exams are very difficult.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding. They had to focus on updating the syllabus.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: In our college, almost 95% of students are placed among those who qualified for the interview round. Our college provides placements. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure and facilities. The hostel provides average infrastructure. Computer labs are a bit outdated. The quality of the food in the hostel is average. On Sunday, food is not provided in the hostel.

Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. Our teachers are good and well-experienced. They assist students in the right manner. Exams are conducted very strictly. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 80%. The course makes students industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course because it is excellent and has good scope in the future due to the AI revolution. The alumni network of the college is excellent, and it has good connectivity with influential people in top companies.

We had good placements last year and may wish to continue for up coming years.

Placements: Last year we had an immense jump in placements as we got more than 801 offers as compared to last few years. The highest package was 15 Lacs, the lowest package was 3.5 Lacs. And many top recruiting companies such as tata consultancy services and many more.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are of big size with 60 students per class. Library has many variety of books and you will get any book if you want other than engineering exams. Hostel is one of the best here. Food is same as home you will not miss your home food. At our college we give much importance to sports as we give to our studies. Medical services are available 24/7.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are always supportive towards study they have immense knowledge about the subject and we can understand the topics in an easy way as they make us understand in simple language. We have 2 internals before semester end exam which we need to qualify. Our lecturers make us ready for industry. Semester exam is same as vtu difficulty.

If you really want to excel in your engineering career I suggest to opt for some better college.

Placements: 40% of students are placed through on-campus and 20-30% through off campus. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, HCL visit for on-campus placements. Average package is just around 3.6-4.5lpa and not more than that and hence students here try for most of the top companies through off-campus.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and hostel related facilities are really good. It's a very vast campus with separate buildings for each departments. Also there's a separate library in each department along with a common library in the campus too. There are also facilitates for various sports.

Faculty: Few lecturers are really good at teaching and their professional towards their work while some of them don't even have the basic knowledge of the subjects they're handling. Course curriculum is relevant and if students study well they'll definitely be industry ready.

Other: I wish everything to be better.
