It has good faculty and average infrastructure and facilities, and the placements for us were bad.

Placements: In civil, none of the students got placed. The company that came for recruitment was Reliance Jio that too for the job of selling Jio sims. No core companies came here. For someone studying civil engineering for 3 years, Jio and Amazon came here. No core companies were there.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were average, in spite of being told in the brochure centralized air conditioning, it wasn't present. The quality of facilities in the hostel was average. The labs are well-equipped. The library is well-equipped too.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and friendly, and the teaching quality was good. The course which I studied was curriculum relevant but did not make students industry-ready. The semester exams were tough in college, and the pass percentage was around 50%.

Budge Budge Institute of Technology is a self-financing college in West Bengal.

Placements: Budge Budge Institute of Technology is a beautiful college for learning. Diploma is the basic part of the engineering course. It is a very good college, and all the students are average. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Only two core companies offered jobs in our college. The salary offered here is fixed, and it is Rs. 25,750 per month.

Infrastructure: The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. The facilities in our college are good. Labs are well-developed. Classrooms are very good for students. At Budge Institute of Technology, the students are endowed with modern infrastructure and convenient amenities that make their life easy during college hours, making learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well-ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facilities for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, a well-stocked library, seamless internet connectivity, medical facilities etc.

Faculty: The program of the civil department in our Diploma is to help students to acquire the basic knowledge and skills, required for planning, designing, estimating and executing the structure of works as also execution of public utility like roads, bridges, building, airports, damps, dams, water works, hydraulics and sewerage works etc. The department conducts survey camps during vacations to ascertain the actual problems and practical approach to solve.

Other: BBIT is one of the best colleges ever in Kolkata. I am very lucky to be a part of it. Academics and infrastructure were superb from day 1. But nowadays, they are providing great opportunities for placements. I got selected through an on-campus drive. It was never easy, but few of us managed to crack the job. When you enter the campus, a lush green playground will welcome you. For the last few years, they are organising the biggest fest of Kolkata, and the college invited rappers Badshah and Honey Singh to the campus.
