Our college doesn't teach extra things and doesn't develop students and doesn't encourage them to explore something new, Even teachers are not that much educated.

This is a review for Bengal College of Engineering and Technology College.
Placements: This college is very good. It provides very good faculty members and very good study. Teachers here in this college are very good and they know how to make you understand the topic and everything, and the placement situation is also good. This is a good college.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel, faculty members, and classes is also nice and good. The college infrastructure is neat and tidy.
Faculty: The way this college takes exams is very good. The security, the seating arrangement, the attendance-taking procedure, and the copy procedure everything is very good about this college. I have nothing, no complaints with this. It is very good. The teachers that used to teach in these classes are well-prepared and know how to teach and what to teach. They are very good at what they do.
Other: When I applied for admission to this college, it was number two, and by the looks of it, this is a good college. Its infrastructure is good, and the faculty, the teachers, the campus, and the live students everything is proper. This college is three, but it feels like when I'm studying in this college, it feels like I am meant to be in this college. About the placement situation, that is also good.

Decent placements, good campus life, and a strong CSE environment.
Placements: BCET CSE offers 75-85% placements. Packages range from 3-6 LPA on average, with the highest 12-24 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, TechM, and Capgemini. Around 60-75% get internships in IT firms/startups. Roles offered: SDE, developer, analyst, QA, support.
Infrastructure: BCET CSE has good Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, updated labs, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are decent, food is average, and the canteen is better. Medical help is available 24/7. Sports facilities include ground, indoor games, and events, making campus life manageable and active.
Other: I chose CSE for good placements and interest in coding. The best parts are labs, projects, and tech exposure. Needs improvement in advanced coding training. The campus has fests, active clubs, a good crowd, decent connectivity, scholarships, and many extracurricular activities.

The honest answers campus life.
Placements: Our college has 100 % placement. The lowest package is 4 LPA, the median is 6 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA, but all this data is on campus placements. Many of my seniors did really well in off-campus, likely 20 to 25 LPA, and one also got into ISRO. The top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, etc. Almost 70 to 80 % of students got internship offers in the 3rd year of the course. Software engineer, software development, data analytics, etc., are some of the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are good at my college. The full campus is covered by Wi-Fi, and we have fully air-conditioned facilities. We have computer labs, separate labs for other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, digital & analog, etc. Hostels for boys and girls have a cafeteria on our campus and a grocery shop for essential needs. We have a basketball court as well as ground for different sports like football, volleyball, and cricket. We have SKS Medical College and Vivekananda Hospital.
Faculty: Professors here are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching way is decent, good as my college is affiliated with Makaut, so the examinations are controlled by their only the curriculum is not that much industry-relevant. The semester exams' toughness is very good. You can't score good marks by studying just one day paper pattern is completely unpredictable pass percentage is not that good during the initial semesters, but with time, by understanding the environment university paper toughness pass percentage gradually increase.
Other: I just like to explore new technologies, so that's why I joined this course. Our college has a fest named Aagaz (cultural) and Athleka (sports). My college has different clubs like Robonixx, Codevision, Cell, etc., which organize different events and bootcamps from time to time. Our college also funds startup funding for its students. It also offered scholarships to different students. Our college is also a ragging-free campus.

Real face of BCET Durgapur.
Placements: 60% of students got placed but not in tech field. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and average package is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Teachnook and Corizo. 0% as there are no big companies for internships. Something eduskill company is only there to give an internship, and no one has done it.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. We never saw labs. We have green board classrooms with least amount of space and benches. Library is only for issuing books only. Quality of food is like getting atleast 1 insect in every 10 students. Medical room is there but there is never a doctor or nurse as it is a store room. Playground is full of huge grass like about 4 feet, but some way of playing sports or online game is there.
Faculty: Teachers are never helpful, qualified, or knowledgeable. The teaching quality is sending PDF to Google classroom only. We have used ChatGPT in exams and still got backlogs, then we started leaking papers and got all the chits before, and still got backlogs.

Good placement scope for students if they have skills. Faculty members could have been better.
Placements: Talking particularly about my batch which is ECE of 2021-2025 we got a lot of placement offers from many organizations. They have a salary range of 3 LPA-9 LPA. Every student got placed in different companies according to their overall GPA and skills in top companies like TCS, Cognizant, Bitchem, MghInfra, Intellipath, Edutantr, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good only as per the rating of the college. They have a particular lab for almost all departments where 75%-80% of the equipment is working. Hostel is average as expected not so Hi-Fi but decent. The cleaning staff is there but not consistent and hostel mess food I would rate 2.5/5.
Faculty: Course Curriculum is as per today's market requirements and teachers are also there with a mix of good and average faculty members. The exam pattern and the standard are good only I would rate that 4/5 but sometimes the questions asked in end-semester exams are very irrelevant to the subject.
Other: I chose this course because I had a keen interest in computers and technology so ECE gives opportunity for both IT industry as well as core industries. Talking about fests, we have fests every semester and events of NSS and other clubs almost every semester with involvement of everyone.

A good place away from home to learn, build connections, and explore career opportunities.
Placements: About 75 to 80% of the students were placed. The lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The highest salary was 3.6 LPA. Some top recruiting companies were Byjus, Concentrix, TCS, and Wipro. About 20% of the students got internships mostly in Wipro and TCS. Top roles offered for my course were BDA, back-end developer, front-end developer, and software engineer.
Infrastructure: There was a separate girl's hostel with proper security, Wi-Fi, laundry, food, and medical facilities. All the facilities were good. Mess was always accessible. The food was healthy and medical had 24X7 emergency facility as well. Sports and games were all open until 8:00 PM on the campus with security.
Faculty: Very helpful and qualified teachers were always there to clear doubts and help out. Course curriculum was relevant ensuring all-around knowledge building and making students industry-ready. With 98% pass percentage the college exams were pretty easy if you attended classes regularly!
Other: We were an enthusiastic batch that was active in co-curricular activities as well like fests, scholarships, internships, intercollege events, and others. It was all fun.
