B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019
5.0
Faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: There are 90% of students placed in all courses, the highest package offered in CSE course placement. Placement is available in all courses. Top recruiting companies recruit in computer science, electronics and electrical engineering. TCS, Swadesh, Mahindra, etc. are the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: All the medical facilities are available, and sports and games are very good. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are clean and all facilities provided in the library are available. There are messes in hostels, and the quality of the food is too good. I urge all students to join this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They are qualified and knowledgeable, and their quality is the best. Teachers give you notes for the semester exam. The students are ready for industry. The semester exams are average but you should be prepared for them. The passing percentage of students is like 98%.

Our college faculty is supportive and helpful.
Placements: Placement is good in CSE branch and information and technology. Also, good placements in civil engineering and ECE branch are there. The highest placement in CSE branch gone in 2021 batch is 22 LPA and in information and technology branch, it is 15 LPA. In civil engineering, it is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good in college and the infrastructure is quite good from other colleges in Durgapur. The hostel food is amazing and the cafeteria is good and amazing. The College library is the best furnished library in Durgapur. In this College, there is one big cricket ground and a basketball ground.
Faculty: All the faculty members are good and all have experience of more than 8 to 9 years. Faculty is very supportive in nature. The college is affiliated by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad technical university formerly known as Bengal university.

This college is good for students who are interested in IT sector.
Placements: Many top companies come for placements and offer decent packages. The placements in our college are good for IT and CSE students, but for civil engineering students, only a few companies come to the college. That's why 70-80% of students get placed. The highest package is nearly 10 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. They provide everything in labs. The classrooms are huge, neat and clean. The library has every kind of book. It is a fully Wi-Fi zone. The hostel is good. Wi-Fi is provided. Somehow, the hostel food is not that perfect, but it is okay to eat.
Faculty: There are many good faculty in our college. They have excellent knowledge about their subjects. They are very friendly, kind and ready to solve any of our problems anytime. The college provides a proper course curriculum for all courses, and the teachers follow the curriculum properly. If you have learned your subject well, then it is very easy to pass semester exams.

Infrastructure, facilities and teachers are good, but I am dissatisfied because of the hostel.
Placements: Almost 10% of the students from the civil stream got placements. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many companies like TCS, Byju's, Capgemini, Amazon, etc., participate in recruitment. About 30% of the students got an internship from civil engineering in companies like TCS, Byju's, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, but the college is not fully Wi-Fi zone. Some buildings like the administration office and CS lab are Wi-Fi-enabled. There is a library, and books for all streams are easily available. The hostel facility is average, and there is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. Food quality is not good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are very good, supportive and helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Some faculty members are not much knowledgeable, and they waste time. Except for 10% of the faculty member, other faculty members are very helpful and supportive. They clear all our doubts.

It is a fantastic college.
Placements: The college does not provide placements for students. The highest, lowest and average salary is not offered to the students. None of the companies visited our campus for placements. The college does not provide an internship for students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. It has a multi stored building and huge ground. There is a mandir in the college, and it is unique. The college provides separate hostel for both boys and girls. Labs are good. The college provides 24x7 Wi-Fi for students. Food served to the students was fantastic.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best, but they are less qualified. All teachers come here for time pass. Everything they do for time pass because they don't know engineering. They just want money.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best course in engineering. The college should improve design and construction work for students to be a good engineer. Events organised by the college are fantastic. Scholarship available is poor.

The college offers a nice study environment. Placements are low but good infrastructure.
Placements: I am in THE final year of my course, and I can say in the civil department, almost 4-5 students get placed in reputed companies, i.e., almost 20% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.75 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Amazon, etc., were top recruiters. I don't know much about the roles offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4.5 LPA. I don't know much about the internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good. There is a library where probably all books are available. Now, classrooms and labs are fully Wi-Fi enabled. Wi-Fi speed is a bit slow. Hostel rooms are good, and they provide a chair and table for each student. There are 2 students allotted in a room. But the major issue in the hostel is the food. The food served is fully vegetarian. Non-vegetarian is not allowed, and the quality is also bad.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are pretty helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is also good. Teachers are pretty friendly with the students. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are almost industry-ready by doing a few industrial training during the course.
Other: I think civil engineering course is the best for me as it helps you to think. It evaluates your thinking ability, and it's a challenging field which may help in the development of personal knowledge. The college should provide more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Many events like Aasha, rangoli competition, tech fests like Robonixx, etc., are conducted.

Very satisfied because of study, and absolutely dissatisfied because of placement.
Placements: Placement for the students of CSE and ECE branch was quiet good. But for core branch there were no placement. Not even a single company from core branch was there for the placement. I have complete my degree in 2018 and I am jobless till now. So if you want to get admission in this college then take software Department rather core branch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is quite good there are too many classroom and laboratory but the worst point is that there are not so good equipment for the test in laboratory. Other than the infrastructure is good. Even there are 5 college in this college area. Overall on the basis of infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The faculty of this college specially for civil Department was good. They are very qualified for the post and have the abilities to teach the students. They are very friendly to the students. And the process of teaching was also very impressive. On the basis os study this college is very discipline.

Overall, the college is good but for civil stream there are no placements.
Placements: There are no placements for civil engineering students in this college. Better you go for government colleges rather than private colleges for joining in the civil stream. For other streams like CS, IT, ECE there are lots of placements. If you are looking for a private college for CS branch, join here, you will have a chance to get 6 LPA package from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Labs, classes are clean and refreshing. The playground is situated in the perfect place, and it is quite big for any sports. There is a separate basketball court where you can utilise your skills. Finally, the gardening and a temple are also there where you can feel blessed to join this college.
Faculty: Some faculty members are exceptional. Some are quite good, and some are boring. If anybody pays attention in class, then he/she will understand better. About the course curriculum, I want to say that this is a WBUT college and the syllabus is quite easy for exams relatively to other states' private colleges.
