Overall, it is the best college for the M.Sc. in Botany course.

Placements: About 92% of students are admitted to our college. Many students got jobs in many companies. The highest salary package offered is 29 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 9 LPA. Big companies like Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, etc., visit the college for recruitment. Nearly 85% of students received internships. Higher-level roles offered are conservation biologist, horticulturist, etc.

Infrastructure: The campus's antique architecture gives us a sense of antiquity, reminiscent of Royal Kolkata. Classrooms include lofty windows and overhanging fans, similar to those seen in old movies. The college features two libraries stocked with literature on a variety of subjects. All of the science departments have offices, and the institution also provides Wi-Fi. The canteen cuisine is overpriced and delicious for everyone.

Faculty: It is a wonderful joy to announce that I have graduated with the top faculty members. They've always assisted us. Students should prepare for projects. Our teachers are always very helpful in our work. Semester tests are quite standard, and we are determined to test our faith. The pass rate is more than 55%.

This college has enough value for money.

Placements: Internships are provided to all students of our course. About placements, they held various seminars regarding our future jobs and concerns. All the past seniors that I've met are doing pretty well in their fields. If asked for their opinions, they would say the same.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is pretty well. Classes are been taken regularly. Free Wi-Fi is available inside the college boundary. There are plenty of labs for science students. We have clean classrooms and a library with almost all kinds of books. The sports facilities are quite poor as this is a girls' college. But there has been progress in addition to sports. The mess is pretty small but hygienic.

Faculty: Professors are full of knowledge and helpful. They are concerned with our studies and help us out in every way possible. The semester exams are pretty well off. It is easy to pass if you study well. The passing mark is 22 out of 75.

The college is overall good.

Placements: There are 29 students in this batch, but we do not get placements. The package is not offered. Companies do not visit the college and I passed out in 2024. Still, I do not get placement. I do not think there are internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is good because we have big classrooms and a library. The library is very helpful because we used to get all books we need for our syllabus. But the major problem is that the hostel is far away from the college. The college is in Hedua but the hostel is in Salt Lake. The food of the canteen is not so good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They used to teach us very well, and they are really supportive in every situation. Exams are held semester-wise and they are not so difficult. We can get good marks and the pass percentage is 30%.

Other: I chose this course because I am very interested in this subject. It helps us to get good knowledge and know the political conditions of the world.

Review of Bethune College.

Placements: Honesty, there are no placements in our college. We will get a few placement details in our respective college group and for that also we have to visit other colleges. There are no internship opportunities, but if we want to do internships then we have to do it from outside.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college as per fee is quite good. We will get classrooms with fans only and no AC. But they are large and benches are quite comfortable too. The college has two libraries, one is departmental and the other one is the common library. In the library, we will only get educational books. The canteen of the college is quite good. However, it is small but during recess, it is very crowded. In the canteen, we get mostly healthy food and the price is decent as well. The hostel of the college is far, and it is in the Salt Lake. So I opted for PG.

Faculty: If students are in English medium, then they have to study mostly on their own. Some teachers provide notes in English but Bengal medium students are given more preference. For exams, they just follow the previous year's question papers.

Other: Overall, it is quite good here, and English medium students who do not know Bengal at all will face problems. The teaching is well. If teachers give lectures in English, then it would be better. Washrooms are really bad and not hygienic at all. They should pay attention to this as well. Every year at the end of December, they conduct a fest called Aalap. It invites some Bengal band singers, and it is a good experience but do not expect too much.

Bethune College review.

Placements: A good amount of students get placed every year, but that's not a huge number. Some reputed companies such as TCS, etc., come to recruit students in the final year of UG. Internships are not available in the botany department. The package is not that impressive.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped with average to good maintenance. The hostel building is very well-furnished with clean floors and titles. Bathrooms are clean as well. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. The food quality is impressive. Bus service is available from the hostel to the college.

Faculty: The faculty of almost all departments are high quality. Teachers are friendly with students. They are quite helpful. Students can clarify their doubts from teachers easily. Semester exams in college are quite tough. Thorough reading is very much required.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Recruiting companies for our course are TCS, etc. Placements happen every year and companies visit the college to recruit students for different positions. However, not many students get placed every year. Overall, the recruitment percentage is not that high but still, it is appreciable.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs, projectors in many classrooms, and a well-stocked departmental library. The library even has some of the expensive foreign books and students can take them for reference and can even get a printout of them. Hostel rooms are of high quality with an all-time Wi-Fi connection.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. The teaching quality is really nice. Practical classes conducted by the teachers are really informative and helpful. The most important thing is that the teachers are well-approachable to the students. Semester exams are moderately tough.
