It was a wonderful college with proper discipline and the best environment.
Placements: The companies like Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services came for placements. You just have to clear a written test and an interview round. From our department, five to six students were placed in the year of 2020. The average salary package offered was about 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: At that time, the hostel was not available for us. Now, a hostel facility is available but the hostel is not near the college. The lab was good as everything was available there but there was no Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms were also clean and spacious. The washrooms were also neat and clean.
Faculty: Our department was the best as the teachers completed our syllabus on time and they always took exam timely. Our professors were best at their jobs and helped us throughout the course. Our department conducts exam very strictly and students should have a minimum percentage of marks in order to be in a safer side.
Other: This is a government college so the fees are very less which is very good.

I am proud to be a part of this college.
Placements: Most of the students opted for higher studies. The college offers placements in many multinational companies. Top multinational companies like TCS, Wipro and others visited the campus during my final year. They selected students based on their capability. Jobs offered were mainly of BPS industry.
Infrastructure: Bethune College has a traditional beauty. Its infrastructure depicts its historical value. The campus has many buildings named Kadombori Bhawan, Nivedita Prayer Hall, Vidyasagar Bhawan etc. There are two libraries, each for science and arts. The college provides Wi-Fi facility. The canteen serves fresh, healthy and tasty food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. There were 8 professors in our chemistry department. Mainly, they preferred to teach us using chalk and board. Teachers groom us to be eligible for various job opportunities.
Other: The college conducts a cultural fest named Aalap.

If you want only to study and there is no need of enjoyment, then you are in the right college.
Placements: There are no placements for pharmaceutical companies. Only one or two companies come to recruit in BPO companies. I was not placed through this college, so I decided to pursue the master course in biochemistry. No teacher guide you for a job in any company. No opportunities for internships are there.
Infrastructure: The college is big and spacious, although some of the classes are too small. The labs are big but not equipped properly. No playing ground is there. A canteen is there but is overpriced, and quality of food is average. No medical facilities are there. Only a small sick room like a size of a cupboard is there. The library is the only best part, and it is filled with relevant books of the latest editions.
Faculty: The course curriculum is a bit monotonous, but the faculty members are helpful at least in my department and chemistry department. They sometimes even use smart boards which is not seen in many other colleges. The student to teacher ratio is 5 students per teacher.
Other: The event is like a school function and not at all good, but intra-college events are quite good.

Good infrastructure, good facilities, great campus, good faculty .
Placements: In general course, there is no such placements & specifically for individual subject. But some companies come to our college like TCS, Cognizant & some student from every department gets job. If you have 60% in honors subject, then you can apply for the job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good in our college. Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library are very good. There is no hostel available in our college, but the food in canteen is really good. I am satisfied. We have lot of sports in college like badminton, carom etc.
Faculty: Not every teachers are helpful, but most of them are very helpful, also qualified. Teachers quality is good. Some professors are really knowledgeable. Yes, this course is relevant. Chemistry honours offer a good future. Many job availability is there.
Other: Chemistry has great job facility in this field. So I chose this college. Fest is not so massive, but we did enjoy a lot. Campus life is very good.
There is a lot of extracurricular activities happen.

Basic eligibility criteria is a candidate should have passed the higher secondary or its equivalent examination, must have passed in English in the previous qualifying examination and must secure pass marks in the general subjects.
