Dissatisfied with placements but teachers were helpful.
Placements: In this college, very few companies come for in-house placements. The ratio of placements in my batch was less than 10%. There was no placement coordinator with whom we could meet and get the details of the placement. However, many of my batch mates did internships through off-campus placements, and now they are doing well in their professional lives.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, then only computer labs were present, which are very small and congested. Apart from the computer lab, a library is also present, which is a very good and peaceful place to study. No hostel facility is present at this college.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. If I specifically talk about my course, which was a Bachelors in Information Technology, this is a very in-demand course right now. Many students are doing this due to the increasing demand in the technology sector.
Other: Events like Saksham and Vivian Fest are organized by the Vivian Event Management Team, and various cultural events are also organised by the college.

Viva College is providing good facilities, and I am recommending them to you.
Placements: In Viva College, 35 percent of students took this BSC,IT course. In this college, the highest average packages are 40k to 50k and the lowest average packages are 30k to 35k per month offered in this BSC,IT course. In this course, 90 percent of students got internships, mostly at IT companies.
Infrastructure: Viva College provides the best facilities and good infrastructure available in this course. They have large classrooms, libraries, computer labs and high-speed Wi-Fi facilities available in this course. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good, including providing fresh food in the canteen, medical facilities, sports and games, and gym areas.
Faculty: Viva College faculty are very helpful in every situation for students. All sirs and teachers are highly qualified; all teachers are knowledgeable; and teaching qualities are also good. In this course curriculum, all students are relevant and ready for industry. In this college semester exam, it is not difficult; all students can easily pass, and passing marks are 35.

Viva College is the best.
Placements: In my course, the highest salary ranges from 40 to 45 thousand per month and the lowest is around 35 to 30 thousand INR. Many companies come for recruiting like IT companies, TATA, etc.
Infrastructure: Viva College provides good facilities and nice infrastructure is available in this college. It provides high-speed Wi-Fi, large classrooms and a library and all the laboratories. Good facilities are there like a canteen with fresh food and medical facilities. A sports ground and a gym area is there.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful for every situation. All of them have higher qualifications. Their teaching quality is also good. Course is curriculum relevant. Students become ready for the industry. Semester exams are not difficult. 30% students pass in the semester exams.

Review of VIVA College, Virar.
Placements: There are no on-campus placements. Even if companies do visit for placements, they hardly select any of the students. The selection ratio on-campus is 1 of 300. Almost everyone opts for off-campus placements, and the rest go for a higher degree. There is no training and placement office on the campus, which is one of the reasons why companies don't visit here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough, and the classrooms are plain and simple with old crooked benches with old fans and tube lights. Labs are well organized and with good equipment and systems that the course demands. Systems have the configuration of 8-16 GB RAM, Core i5 processors and good enough SSDs for animation and android studio programming. There are two campuses (old VIVA and new VIVA). B.Sc (IT) has classrooms in old VIVA.
Faculty: The faculty are not well trained and have limited to no knowledge regarding their subjects. They only go through the projector and PPT notes that they or someone else had prepared for them (they don't even share it with students). Senior faculty members did their Masters while junior faculty members only did their Bachelors in their respected subjects. The teaching methodology of teachers is very low without any practical and applied knowledge. The course is very well relevant to the industry point of view, but you have to be smart enough to explore and learn new stuff on your own. You definitely can't rely on teachers alone. VIVA College is affiliated with Mumbai university, so exams are the same all over Mumbai. You can clear exams easily if you have gone through your notes.
Other: I did my higher secondary education from VIVA itself, and it's near to my home, so I chose it. I'm also well familiar with the faculty members of B.Sc. (IT). The most important thing I like to change about our course is the teaching methodology to be more practical and applied based instead of just going through PPT and PDF. There are a lot of events and fests going on, which are organized by the VIVA student council, and they do a very good job. Events include games and competitions such as human chess, painting, dance, singing etc. The campus crowd is not at all good. If you are a studious student, then I'll definitely advise you not to mingle with the crowd. The campus is at a distance of 10 minutes walk from the railway station, and both campuses are 2 minutes distance from each other. There is no scholarship provided to students, but if you have any special letter from the district/state/central government, then you can show it in the office at new VIVA college. There is a gymkhana at new VIVA where you can have fun and play with your friends.

Review of Bhaskar Waman Thakur College of Science, Yashvant Keshav Patil College of Commerce.
Placements: Placements in this college are average, but some top tech companies like TCS visit the campus for recruitment. Around 60 to 70% of the students get placed in college. Most of the students get placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA. The highest salary package of 12 LPA is offered by top companies like Morgan Stanley, KPMG, ICICI Bank, etc. Most of the students get placed at a reasonable salary package.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure, equipment and facilities in our college are good. We have good classrooms, and the laboratory has all the equipment needed tools in a proper way. There is also a sports room where we can play all indoor games and we can also play outdoor games on a pretty big college ground. There is a good canteen facility for college students, and washrooms are clean.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. Our staff members are also good. This college has the best faculty members for the science stream as I have studied my junior college here professors were helpful, and they explain and perform practicals so well, some teachers are bit strict.
