B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.2
The infrastructure is good. It has highly qualified teachers.
Placements: Placements are average. Sometimes, top companies come here for the recruitment process. Placements were far better before COVID, but now they've been a little degraded. Hopefully, the upcoming batches will get a chance to sit for some top-notch companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Renovations are also going on. But, there's only one campus hostel that is only for boys. Canteens are available inside and outside the college campus. Wi-Fi is available. Sports and bus facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers here are the most helpful. They help students in every way possible. They are highly qualified professionals. Students can gain knowledge about the field they are studying. Semester exams are easy if we study. Our department has the highest pass percentage.

Teacher are highly qualified professionals and attractive Active NSS cell
Placements: Placement are moderate but from this college many students got job in many popular organization, company and PSU etc. like NRL, OIL, ONGC, IGGL,APDCL, Public health, PWD etc. Also many students doing their internship in many popular places like iocl, oil, ONGC, Railway, AEGCL etc.
Infrastructure: Now a days infrastructure are one of the best in comparison with some other technical institute. Also development are going on. Full smart class room are available in each and every classroom in the college. A strong workshop and all departmental labs are available. In central library, all required books are available. also in some department individual library and seminar rooms are available.
Faculty: Teacher are highly qualified. Their teachings qualities are so attractive. Also their friendly behavior encourage many students. In this college exam center are so strong. In 1st and 2nd semester passing percentage are moderate but from 3rd to 8 semester passing percentage are above 95 percentage.
Other: I selected this course because now a days electrical engineering plays a major role for developing our country also this college is one of the best in electrical engineering purpose. This college help me for growing my leadership

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members.
Placements: There are 72 students in our course. The highest, the lowest, and average salary of an electrical engineer are respectively 10L, 2L, and 4.7L. Companies for our courses include Bajaj Electronics, Siemens, NTPC, Philips, Tata Steel Ltd, Amazon, Samsung India Electronics, etc. A maximum of 20% of students got internships from our college in many companies like refineries. There are various roles in electrical engineering, including electrical design engineer, microelectronics engineer, instrumentation engineer, telecommunication engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are not many facilities available for our department. For example, we don't have an extra library for our department, and our classroom fans are not working. We also lack water facilities. While we have labs, there are no proper equipment. First of all, our college doesn't have hostels like other colleges. We only have PG accommodations, where we do get facilities like good food, 24/7 water, and electricity.
Faculty: Not all the teachers in our college are knowledgeable. Some teachers just give us notes without properly teaching. No, it doesn't make the students industry-ready. Our teachers check the papers very strictly, and the pass percentage is 60%.
Other: This is a very good course. We can get higher-salary jobs if we work hard through this course, which is why I chose it. Yes, I hope to see more placements in our college to improve the career prospects of students.

Good college if you want to be an engineer, but even better if you avoid.
Placements: The college I am studying at would be what you call a tier 2 college in our state. So eventually, by default, not many offers come to our college. The highest offer would be around 18 LPA, and the lowest would be anywhere around 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies that came will be NRL (oil company). Internships generally are in local power grids and sometimes in the state board of electricity. Our college only has the 4 major branches in engineering.
Infrastructure: Honestly speaking, our college infrastructure is average in the purest form. I would describe it as a big factor in a huge mass of barren land. There I have given you an overview of our college infrastructure. One boys' hostel is there, which has recently opened. The girls' hostel is in the making and will be finished this year (I hope). Labs are in good condition. Wi-Fi is available, but sometimes problems arise. There is one canteen and some food stalls outside the campus. The college is in the middle of nowhere.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and have a good command of teaching. Exams are quite tough, especially midterms. Teachers are helpful; they explain everything very clearly. Doubt-clearing classes are held once a week, and even before midterms.
Other: I am a 5th-semester electrical student. There are better options in our state for electrical students. Technisia, our college fest, is held every year for 3 days. The campus is nice but in heavy need of great improvement.

Fully satisfied with our faculty, but not great campus placement.
Placements: There are no placements right now provided on our college campus, but it may improve as we grow. There are no companies that visit our college. However, there are internship opportunities provided by our college in other government or private sectors.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available in our college. Labs are almost well-equipped. The classrooms are digital. The infrastructure of our college is good. The library has a good reading environment and is fully air-conditioned. Our hostel is very new; it was just inaugurated and started running last year. The mess food is quite good. There is a volleyball ground and a cricket ground on the campus. Currently, there are no medical facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified, mostly Ph.D. holders, and have great knowledge about the subjects. The curriculum is very relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: The course I opted for opens various doors for me. There is an annual fest held every year in the college known as Technisia, which is a three-day program. The connectivity is very simple; just get to the auto stand, take an auto, and say the name of the college.

Good facilities are provided by the college.
Placements: 5 to 10 percent placement is given to students by the college. The highest package is INR 1800000 per year in NRL. Almost 80 percent of students get an internship. Campus placement is very helpful to all other students for a good career. So everyone needs to take placement.
Infrastructure: On the college and hostel campuses, all facilities are available. Good Wi-Fi, practical labs, classrooms, bus, libraries, etc. The hostel mess is average but all the other facilities are good. College gives us the opportunity to study at a college with a good career.
Faculty: Good faculty members are provided. Well-known, well-educated teachers are in our college. A good curriculum is ready for industries. Semester exams are a little tough. Very little time is given by ASTU to study well every semester. That's why the semester exam is very tough.
Other: I love electrical engineering. In my course, the best thing is problems, which we cannot see. Unnecessary subjects are provided in the course. All the events mentioned above are held at our college.

A review on Bineswar Brahma Engineering College , Kokrajhar.
Placements: Placements are average at our college. Different types of companies come to our college and our training and placement cell is active. Different types of seminars and workshops are organized by the training and placement cell. Students also get placed in off-campus placement like NRL, INDIAN OIL, APDCL, etc.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is good. I am a student of electrical engineering. All labs are present but equipment is limited. The college has a Wi-Fi facility and classrooms are equipped with smart boards. The college hostel is newly constructed. Infrastructure is excellent. But improvements are needed in management.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and helpful. As an electrical engineer, our curriculum is not so easy. Exams are hard. Assam Science and Technology University provided the papers. Each semester, one sessional exam, one end-of-semester exam and lab exams are held by the college.
Other: Our college is improving day by day. Many buildings are in the construction phase.

Our college provides good faculty members and placements but we do not have hostel facilities.
Placements: Placements are not good. Around 15% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. I would like to see improvement in placements in this college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in our college. We have private internet and all essentials are available in our laboratory. Classrooms are updated. The library is also very good. We have a proper playground for students. Medical facilities are not good.
Faculty: Teachers are cool, free, and eager to teach us everything. Overall, their experience is also good. The course curriculum makes students 100% ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.
