I recommend coming and visiting the college and feel the college life.
Placements: Companies like Mahindra, IOCL, BCPL, Oil India, and others visit our college for campus placement. Most students are selected, as many companies come to college and they provide a large amount of salary for the students.
Infrastructure: Girls' and boys' hostels are available with all facilities, like electricity, water, a fan, a DG generator, and a transformer. They have a big water tank and a street light. Some memorial trophies are present. Both hostels are on the college campus, and the food is also good.
Faculty: All the faculty members are good and highly educated. They are good at teaching, and they are experienced teaching staff. They are good, and they build a good relationship between the student and teacher. They are active in all directions, not only technical field, they also support in the cultural field.
Other: The campus is good and beautiful.

BBEC- through the nib of thought.
Placements: Most of the students are preparing for higher studies. There are only a few placement drives for the passout batch. The top recruiting company was SOLAS, which is basically an Abu Dhabi-based company. The internship is included itself in the course in 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters.
Infrastructure: The department is one of the best among all the departments. All the classrooms have digital boards along with whiteboards. Wi-Fi and lab facilities are also good with modern equipment in the lab. The hostel facilities are within the campus, just 500 m away from the college building. The food quality is average in mess.
Faculty: All the teachers of all the departments are highly educated and have a helpful and kind nature toward the students. There is a startup cell for the students also. Many of the students are involved in startups of their own. There are midterm and endterm exams for a semester. The exams are moderate in level.
Other: Having interests in machines, I chose mechanical engineering in these colleges. The best thing about this course is the relationship between the students and teachers. They helped in any situation by their capabilities. There is a techno-cultural fest every year named Technisia held in the months of February and March.

Faculty members are good. Infrastructure is developing day by day.
Placements: Placements are very rare. Earlier, they used to come a little. Now they are coming very less. Maybe placements will come in the next few years. Hoping that it will be solved. The training and placement cell is there in this college. They need to work on it to bring placements to this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has been growing a lot for the past few years. It is getting better, and the infrastructure of the course is also good. The faculty is also good. The hostel has been built; the hostel is also new, and there are some problems in the hostel which will get resolved gradually.
Faculty: The faculty members are also very good; they teach well. They explain everything, clear doubts, and the exams are also held on time. There are some delays in the exam, but everything is fine. There are many fests and events in our college. Every year, these events are organized in a systematic way.
Other: Yes, the campus is big; there is space. There is a playground for us to roam around, do basketball, volleyball, and cricket. To be honest, there is nothing much to enjoy in campus life. We just have more time after class. There is no time after class, so campus life is not worth talking about.

Review of my college and my thoughts.
Placements: Placement situation is not good in this college. Most of the placements for students are out of campus. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and ONGC come to the campus for placements. Most of the placement salaries per year are around 7 lakhs, and most students are placed off-campus.
Infrastructure: I am in Mechanical Engineering at this college. The practical labs and classes are good. Faculty members are helpful, and all are Ph.D. holders. Wi-Fi in the classrooms is okay. The hostel is clean and good, and the fees are also minimal.
Faculty: Faculty members are good overall. All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. The teaching style is good, and the college has several activities like tree plantations, 3D modeling, AutoCAD, etc. Exam success is also good, with three exams in the six-month semester.
Other: The college is in a modification stage, with more improvements coming to the college.

Overall, it was the best government engineering college in Assam after AEC and JEC.
Placements: Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. The campus placement is moderate at this college, with companies like Luit Minerals, Infosys, IGGL, and NRL visiting for on-campus placements. One of our seniors got placed at NRL with an annual package of 18 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-maintained library and laboratories. All books and study materials are available in the college library. All the equipment and machinery needed are present in the college laboratory. We have smart classrooms as well as good connectivity for free Wi-Fi.
Faculty: All of our faculty members are very helpful and come from good economic backgrounds. They are friendly and share their life experiences with us. They encourage us for a bright future and assist us with anything we need. Their teaching methods are modern.
Other: As a machine lover, I chose the mechanical branch. The faculty members in our department are well-educated, and there are more faculty members in our branch compared to other branches.

Not satisfied with the faculty, no placements in 2024, poor infrastructure, and no sports facilities
Placements: No companies came at all last year in the year 2024; in 2024, two or three companies came, but not many packages were given. Also some students do not get a chance to sit in the interview; nepotism also happens sometimes; training and placement cell is only a part.
Infrastructure: Labs are available, but some instruments are working and some are not. There is no Wi-Fi facility, no place to sit and study, and no working computer labs are there in the college. All the computer lab monitors are damaged or not working, and the computers are very low-quality products; MS Word does not run properly.
Faculty: Some teachers are not qualified and only care about attendance, not about students future. Every time there is a function in the college, students are forced to come to college just for attendance, but later that attendance is not considered also. Specially HOD of civil department does not deserve to be in the college.

Absolutely good to take admission in this college because of good placement, good facility etc.
Placements: Bineswar Brahma Engineering College is one of the fastest-growing engineering colleges in Assam. Almost 30% to 40% of students get placed in our college. The highest package offered is 20 LPA, the average is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities, including a high-tech laboratory, smart classrooms, and a well-maintained library. We have one boys' hostel and one girls' hostel. The quality of the food provided to students is very hygienic, and our college also has a canteen. Additionally, our college offers a bus facility at any time. We have a cricket pitch, football pitch, volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, etc.
Faculty: All our faculty members are highly qualified and come from well-off backgrounds. They support us with any problems we face and teach with 100% effort. Our course curriculum is based on Assam Science and Technology University, Jalukbari. Our pass percentage is 60%.
Other: I chose this course because my childhood dream was to take admission in this college. The best thing about my course is that it provides quality engineering education. Our college provides various scholarships like Ishaan Uday, Pragati, etc. Our college fest, Technisia, is one of the largest fests in Bodoland. Also, our college events are very knowledgeable and engaging, such as Robo Fight and Structural Bridge. The surroundings of our college are very good.

Satisfied with the college facilities and the lab rooms. Infrastructure is just average .
Placements: The placement is average here. After corona, there are 6 to 8 company visited our college for the placement of 7th or 8th semester students. There are also pool campus placement drive also conducted in the college. The average package goes around 3.5 to 4.5 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Basically, our college is in under development right now. The hostels (both boys & girls) are almost 90% completed. Wi-Fi is available on the college campus. There is one college canteen and outside the college, many food stalls are placed. One basketball ground and two football field are also there.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful and motivated. They guide us for semester exam as well as other competitive exams also. In our mechanical department, there are 5 faculty members. Our course is under ASTU registration. The lab machine is highly advance here.
Other: The name of our college fest is "TECHNISIA". It is held every year in the month of February or March.
