College life of B.Tech students.

Placements: Currently, in my course, students who got placed are around 15-20 of the total 200 students. From the previous year of the 60 batch, 15 students got placed. The highest package offered ranges from 30-32 LPA, and the lowest package offered ranges from 2-2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of my course are TCA, Lenskart, and Infosys. Around 10-15 percent of students got placed in my course. Most of the students got placed in non-tech companies, and a few of them in tech. The top roles offered in my course are full-stack and software developers.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my course or department are quite good, but some of the things are in progress. The quality of facilities in my hostel is not maintained. There is a lack of rooms and buildings for hostels. The quality of food is good in the mess and canteen. All other facilities, like sports, games, and medical facilities, are good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have good knowledge in their fields. They have very good experience. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry level. Semester exams are not that difficult. If we study for some hours, then we can score good marks. It is a total of 15 mark paper.

Other: I chose this course because it is in high demand and has such good jobs. The college should make us use practical things instead of theoretical ones.

Birla Institute of Applied Sciences is a decent college with serene views.

Placements: Mostly, either non-tech or tech companies with bond visits the college offering low salary packages. Only a limited number of students get any sort of internships. Our top recruiters include decent companies like Lenskart and mass recruiters like Akitra.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms of the first-year students are pretty, but as our seniority increases, so does the quality of our hostel and dormitory rooms. Final year and third year students stay in the same hostel. Quality of food served is pretty decent, but sometimes it is pretty uneatable.

Faculty: College exams are the worst. Our college faculty members and HODs do not help a bit. University is more terrible in conducting the end-of-semester exam as the data sheet is not balanced, so it could take up to months, during which our main exams are in between.

I am not that dissatisfied and this college is okay.

Placements: The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our courses are Lenskart and Akitra mass recruiting. There are no internships provided by the college. You have to find it off-campus. Top role offered in course is engineer.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are bad. Wi-Fi is available 24X7. Labs are good. Fully furnished classrooms are also bad, no fan in the classroom. Library is also good, it contains all types of books you want to read on the subject or related to the topic. It contains 1 clinic where for 2 hours there is a doctor.

Faculty: Faculty members are not that good. They are rude, not highly qualified, and not that much knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is not that relevant. It does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but the pass percentage is okay.

Poor placement and curriculum.

Placements: In my course, almost 30-40% of students get placed in any company. College has not provided the placement record from the last two years because of lack of placements so you should not expect an eye-catching package. The highest package over the last 4-5 years from college placement would be around 15 LPA. I do not have any data about the internships of the students. The most recruited in our college is Akitra.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for our course are decent. It contains computer labs and all have intel i3 or i5 systems. Hostel mess, canteen, and sports facilities are average. Hostel does not have the capacity or room for students so mess food is average.

Faculty: Some teachers have good knowledge in their field but some lack the technical knowledge of the subject. Course of our university is not up to date as it should be so I can't make sure that it can make you industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult and vary from semester to semester so it is up to the student how well he/she is prepared.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue computer science from a college that does not have very high fees and value for money so I chose this college. The things I wish to improve in my course are by adding some industry-ready courses and adding some events so that we can gain knowledge about the industry.

Satisfied, everything is good.

Placements: More than 80% of people are placed and several companies visit for placements. The average package offered is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Students are happy with the placement and college. Companies like NCR, Wipro, and many more companies visit. Students learn and get placed.

Infrastructure: There are good classrooms and a big library also. Labs for each subject are there, and proper experiments are done there. Wi-Fi is available and there is a good speed of Wi-Fi. Everything is good. A good canteen is there where food is fresh and healthy.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and as well as knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good. Semester exams are okay, and the pass percentage is 30%. Teachers are so cooperative and help students in each aspect both academically and socially.
