The BIT Sindri placements for 2025 have commenced from August 2024 and are likely to last till May 2025. As per the 2024 placement report, the average package offered during BIT Sindri BTech placements 2024 was INR 7.57 LPA. BIT Sindri offers lateral entry in the BTech programme to Diploma holders in Engineering and Technology streams. The selection is based on score of the candidates in competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats via lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

BIT Sindri offers admission to BTech course through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). The selection for M.Tech programme is based on GATE score of the aspirants. Besides, the institute conducts a written test/ interview to shortlist aspirants for PhD programmes. Hence, direct admission is not possible at BIT Sindri. Aspirants need to pass selection rounds to get a seat in the institute.
