BIT Sindri Check JEE Main Year-wise Cutoff

Candidates applying for any of the BIT Sindri courses have to fulfill the set eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirement will mention the required qualification and aggregate. Below is BIT Sindri course-wise eligibility:

You need to get more than 95 percentile in JEE-mains. Also, Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Information Practice/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Agricultutre/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship as optional subjects and obtained atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects taken together. For Lateral Entry-Candidate must have passed diploma in relevant field from a recognized board.

BIT Sindri accepts national-level entrance exam as well as conducts written test for providing admission to UG and PG courses. Below is course-wise accepted entrance exam for BIT Sindri:

Candidates need to complete BE/ BTech or equivalent in their respective discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for BIT Sindri MTech programme. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Besides, aspirants must also qualify GATE or appear for a written exam conducted by BIT.

Aspirants who have completed ME/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in respective discipline with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for SC/ ST) from recognised university/ institute are eligible to apply for the PhD programme at BIT Sindri. Besides, candidates need to appear for written test/ interview conducted by the institute for admission to PhD programme.

There are 211 seats divided in 13 Various Courses in M.Tech in BIT Sindri.

The minimum requirements are 60% in BTech and GATE rank.
