A glimpse of BIT, Sindri.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and library are both good, but labs still contain old equipment. Wi-Fi is available in most places. The hostel rooms are good, but the mess food is bad. A medical health centre is available. There are also sports and games facilities.

Review of BIT Sindri (Department of Electrical Engineering).

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-notch across the whole campus. Wi-Fi is also available in our department. Multiple labs and classrooms are of top-notch quality, and a very huge library is available on our campus. The hostel facility is also top-notch. The quality of food available in the canteen is also good, and in our college, a medical facility is available. Weekly sports competitions and games are held in our college.

Good ROI. Best for core branches.

Infrastructure: The mess quality is good. They do not serve junk food, and although the variety is not very diverse. The food is better compared to many other colleges. There are mostly no power cuts, and hygiene is maintained. The required infrastructure for the course is available, but it is not used as much as it could be. It is mainly used for practical purposes.

Great ROI and a pretty decent college if you are looking to spend your 4 years here.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was outdated a few years ago, but now it's been upgraded at a good pace. New hostels have been built for first-year boys also, a new academic complex and R&D centre are also coming up along with a SAC for the students entering in 2026. Labs are outdated in some departments, but they have been improving in the last few years, and it will only get better with time. Sports facilities are decent and not great. We do have 3-4 grounds in our campus and almost every hostel has a volleyba...

The relevant review for the Mechanical Engineering branch in BIT Sindri.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Mechanical Engineering department is a bit old, but unique and antique. We have very good labs and good faculty members. The most highlighted ones are the newly constructed lecture halls and classes, which are state-of-the-art and comparable to IITs. The new hostels for students are very good and modern, similar to NIT standards. The mess food is also very good but a bit overpriced.

Good college great placement in low feels.

Infrastructure: Nice hostels for the first year. For the second year, they are a bit old, but again, they are good. For the third and final year, there is a good library and mess (not too good, but average, like every hostel). There is a cafeteria, a Nescafé shop, and some vendor shops on campus. Free medical facilities are available, but the health center is open for specific times. There are also good sports facilities.

College placements and hostel facilities. A deep dive into a well-known government institution.

Infrastructure: After the new hostel construction, 2 students share a single room, but this changes in the 2nd, 3rd, and final years. No Wi-Fi is provided. The quality of food in the mess is decent but not up to the mark. In each hostel, students are assigned a mess incharge to take care of the food served.

Really good placements in the year 2024 and a great campus vibe overall.

Infrastructure: Labs are decent. They have the latest software, but the classrooms can get really hot in the summer because the ACs aren't great. The library is my favorite spot, it's huge and has almost every book you'd need. Hostel life is okay, but the mess food is repetitive. Monday's paneer is good, but the rest of the week is just average. We have a solid basketball court and a gym that's usually crowded in the evening.

It is a very good college for core branches.

Infrastructure: New hostel, lecture halls, club rooms, and experiment labs are being built and will be completed by September 2026. In the first year, new hostels are made. All roads and classrooms are well furnished and clean. Sports like cricket, volleyball, and football are major activities that are played.

Good as per the fee of my college, it is the best college.

Infrastructure: As the facilities are not that luxurious, the new infrastructure of the college is the best and has all the luxury facilities. Upcoming students will get these good infrastructure facilities. Wi-Fi is only available in the library. The labs are old and some of the machines are not working in good condition. As the old hostel has average quality but the new hostel is of good quality and has all the facilities. All mess are private, so different hostel mess has different tastes. The canteen is goo...

Overall, the return on investment is very solid.

Infrastructure: First-year hostels are recently built, while the second year onwards, hostels are old, but the mess food is decent enough. There is no Wi-Fi connection from the college side. You can have yours. There are 2 grounds available near college hostels with good sports facilities.

I think this college should improve on the curriculum, on-time lectures and results.

Infrastructure: There are labs, lecture rooms, library in campus and they are in not so good conditions. Wi-Fi is there if u purchase it. Mess is private so it gives variety but not good food. Canteen is there in the distance. Medical facilities are not that good, sports and games too.

Overall, good placements for core branches.

Infrastructure: The campus is spacious and surrounded by lush green trees. The Civil Engineering department has classrooms with digital boards, a separate departmental library, computer labs, and specialized labs such as NDT and geotechnical engineering. The institute provides hostels, and a basic healthcare center is situated on campus. The food quality is average..

Good faculty and value for money.

Infrastructure: Hostels are quite old-fashioned and wrecked. 1st-year hostels (29, 30, 31) are exceptions. They are newly built and given for first-hand use to freshers this year. The mess is mediocre. You can order food from the canteen though the pricing is good. The library has a wide range of books too.

The mess food at Birla Institute of Technology Sindri is better if we compare it to other government colleges across India. Students will enjoy their mess food at Birla Institute of Technology Sindri. Birla Institute of Technology Sindri provides three meals a day.
