BMSCE admissions are entirely based on the rank and scores achieved by candidates in the entrance examinations. To get a seat in any of the programmes offered at BMS College of Engineering, candidates must appear for an entrance exam followed by the counselling round conducted by the competent authority. Candidates should appear for either KCET/ COMEDK/ Karnataka PGCET/ GATE/ KMAT/ CMAT or MAT depending upon the programme for which candidates wish to apply for BMS College of Engineering admission.

BMS College of Engineering falls under management quota. A student with PCM in Class 12 with 60 percent and above can directly apply.
