The college you need that provides you with everything in budget (if you focus).
Placements: Students who paid attention during placement got placed, so 35 percent of students got placed. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 8 LPA. Companies like Eaton and Deutsche Bank actively hire in campus. The role offered is a finance analyst, and tech companies also come to hire BCA students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is well-maintained, clean, and has good infrastructure. There is a single bed for every student. There are 2-3 beds per room. They have a common study area. The in-time is 8:00 PM. There are wardens and guards for safety. The hostel is inside the campus, so you can enjoy your beautiful evening inside the beautiful campus.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and humble. They avoid mistakes and focus on helping students. They understand students' grasping ability and try to teach them in such a manner that really helps them. Exams are tough, but as the course covers everything that a finance individual needs to be industry-ready, it's a plus point.
Other: The crowd is sophisticated and events are organised by college like Asthitva and Troika. Extra-curricular activities include a nature club, RSS, and college sports teams for football, basketball, and cricket. The campus is really beautiful, it gives you old aesthetic vibes. The course I took was because of a lack of knowledge, I should have chosen BCA or some other course for more opportunities.

It has great infrastructure, facilities, and an amazing crowd.
Placements: More than 60% of students get placed for internships during our second year which just ended and the third year is going to start now. I do not have any ideas about the packages which are offered to everyone. Top companies like Deloitte, Alliance Bernstein, etc., visit the college for placements and internships. Seniors did talk about getting good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really great. Our college has a huge ground for sports and activities. There is a computer lab in the B.Com building, 2 libraries, and 2 labs in the BBA building too. The hostel is great and there's a big practice room for the cultural club that's separate from the other buildings. There's a basketball court, auditorium, canteen, and other buildings for other departments.
Faculty: Teachers are really great, qualified, helpful, and pretty pathetic towards students. I had a great experience with the faculty members. The course curriculum is up to date and our college had implemented the NEP policy before most of the other colleges that I knew. Semester exams are actually pretty good and not that hard. However, if we study properly for it and understand the concept, it is really easy if we attend the lectures or if we focus on them during self-study time. We need to get 20% out of 100% to pass exams.
Other: I chose the course because I am interested in learning more about marketing and internships. This course really helped me, and the content is really easy to understand too. There are really great events like Astitva, Anubhuti, Emerge, and Troika, which are really great for increasing our network. It is really great and we get to enjoy it a lot.

It helps us to build our careers.
Placements: About 40% of students get placed. The highest package is 4.5 LPA for ACCA students and the lowest package is 2.2 LPA. Roles like accountant, finance management, and marketing are offered. I am not involved too much in it as I was attending CA side by side, so I don't have a clue of companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. The infrastructure is good. It has various facilities like a hostel, grounds for games like basketball, football and cricket, a canteen, a library and computer labs. The quality of food served is good compared to other colleges canteen. The food is not too much oily. I don't have any problem because of the canteen food.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and they have the potential to build the career of the students. The teaching given to us is so understanding. It is the top college in Pune. Exams are quite difficult but if we attend the lectures thoroughly then we don't face any problems. Teachers are also so supportive.
Other: I chose this course because I am doing CA side by side. I wanted to learn relating to that. I think the college should give more time for students to practice in the practical labs. It is not like that they don't provide enough time but sometimes they don't opt us for practical. Events and festivals are there. Astitva is the main festival. There are so many activities like Salesmanship. We can show our art and creativity in festivals and events and the college appreciates them.

Full review of BMCC, Pune.
Placements: There are fewer chances of placements in the B.Com course of this college, though some students with a good CV may receive placement offers. The average package offered here is about 3LPA, and the salary range is 1.2 LPA-6 LPA. Companies like Flipkart and EY approached the college.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are good, keeping the fees in mind. Wi-Fi, library, and canteen that are available in the college are helpful. There are also computers available at the college for different purposes, which students can access.
Faculty: Faculty is good, qualified, and helpful, except for some. The teachers here have a great way of teaching. The course and college follow NEP, which means the course becomes interesting and relevant. The semester exams are not very difficult, and anyone who studies average can pass them.
Other: The college also hosts many fests. Overall, it is a value for money.

Teaching is great and the placement cell is very active here.
Placements: Above 70% of students get placed for jobs and internships. The highest package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is ACA Global. More than 50% of students got internships in companies like ACA Global, Finxl, and Solve.
Infrastructure: The college has many facilities such as Wi-Fi, a library, and computer labs. The quality of food available at the mess and canteen are good. Medical facilities are also available. The college has many active sports and games where students can participate.
Faculty: Teachers are really kind, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little difficult and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I saw the upcoming future trends in this field. The best part of the course is specialisation in Fintech. The thing that could be better is the practical knowledge. The college should provide more practical knowledge. The college organises many fests, events, and extracurricular activities.

Review of Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune.
Placements: The college offers various placements in companies like Zomato, Reliance Retail, Deloitte, etc. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA-5 LPA and the highest salary package offered in 2023 was 12 LPA. Students secured plenty of internships. B.Com course has 600 seats, and admission depends upon the merit list.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college building is made of old age stone, surrounded by trees. There's a lot of greenery in the area. The quality of food in canteen is average, and our college provides a lot of facilities to students like library and free Wi-Fi. Gymkhana is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well-qualified. They provide quality education. B.Com degree has 2 semesters and the difficult level is very high of the exam. Pass percentage is average. The important thing to keep in mind is the college starts at 07:30 AM for B.com students.

External student's review on BMCC.
Placements: I don't know about the percentage, but in my college, around 150-200 students got admission, and I'm an external student/open learning student. For me, the rate was around 8,000 (external student fee) for the whole year (1st year). None. The top roles offered are CA.
Infrastructure: I am an external student, so I don't know much, but I've seen that my college provides a library, Wi-Fi, not very clean classrooms, but they are in good condition, and canteens are good too. I haven't been to the hostel, but it might be pretty good, I am guessing.
Faculty: The teaching for me was done online, and teachers were very good with teaching. In exams, they weren't too strict, and they helped us with any doubts we had. My course is about finance, so, yes, it is pretty relevant. They are pretty easy if you know about businesses.
Other: I just wanted a degree, that's why I took this course, but there are many opportunities in B.Com if you look at it. The classrooms and bathrooms would have been better. I haven't been to any events, so no comment.

Best college in Pune for B.Com.
Placements: BMCC has a good placement record for BCom students, with around 60–70% getting placed through the college's placement cell. The highest salary package offered this year was around Rs. 9 lakhs, and the average package was Rs. 4-6 lakhs. To be considered for internships after our second year, we must register with the placement cell. When internship opportunities arise, we will be notified and can apply. If selected, we will be able to participate in the internship.
Infrastructure: BMCC has old infrastructure buildings, but the classrooms have smart boards and are well ventilated. Students have wifi access throughout the campus, and there is a library with a huge reading hall and a computer lab for student use. BMCC also has a hostel, which is compulsory for non-residents of Pune in their first year.
Faculty: BMCC is an autonomous college, so they design their own syllabus under SPPU guidelines. They have designed a very good and useful curriculum. If we attend lectures, it won't be difficult to understand the material. The teachers are very helpful and cooperative.
Other: BMCC has a diverse student body, with students from all walks of life. There are a lot of extracurricular activities, including clubs like NCC, NSS, Nature Club, and Finance Club. The college also organizes a lot of intra- and inter-college competitions, such as Moot Court, MUN, debates, and sports. In addition, the college organizes a variety of events, such as Astitva and Troika.

They would deduct some of your percentage approx 3-5 percentage. Also, if you haven't studied maths till 12th, you can't pursue B.Com (Hons.). You have to opt for B.Com programme.
