Placement is very good but hostel food and campus is bad.
Placements: The placement at this college is excellent. If you are interested in placement, you will be placed 100 percent. The minimum package is 15k and the maximum is 40k. They will give importance to practicals, and you will get a paid internship during the 3rd and 4th semesters. After finishing the internship, there is a chance that you can get placed with that company .
Infrastructure: My course is mechanical but now it is not in high demand. It is better to go for a computer-based course, where classes are neat and big mobiles are also allowed inside the campus. Students should wear uniforms; the hostel is the worst and the food is worse than the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to you but some teachers are not. The semester exams are not stuff and they give importance to practical and technical students. The minimum pass mark is 30 out of 75 and internal is 25. Getting a pass is easy; you should score with a higher percentage; it will help you get placed easily .
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in it because it's full of vehicles and after that, I would like to do my bachelor's degree. They need to improve the hostel, food and campus. The very old buildings are not painted and crack on the walls. They give more importance to practical things than to sports and events .

one of the best government Polytechnic college in tamilnadu.
Placements: In our college 40% of students were placed every year. But due to corona pandemic situation last there is no placement for us. Usually, tvs brakes india, ashok Leyland, royal Enfield, bharathbence are the companies where student places from mechanical department.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure are pretty good. And the lab facilities are superior. Hostel provided by the college is the worst. There is not enough restrooms for the students. And their food quality is also the worst. But the college ground is well maintained by the management .
Faculty: Teacher's were highly talented and knowledge. They also good at practical skills. The course they provide was curriculum relevant, and the students are industry ready. The semester exams are not much easy. The pass percentage is 80 in my last semester.

It is a very good college, and I had a great experience.
Placements: Around 50% of students were placed in my course. The highest salary is 25,000 per month, and the lowest salary is 11,000 per month. Around 40% of students got internships from my course. Design engineer, production engineer, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Our college is the largest Polytechnic college in Asia with a huge campus. We have many lab facilities that are not available in many other colleges. We have a decent library with all books available. The quality of hostel and food is average.
Faculty: The college has knowledgeable teachers, and they are very helpful. This course curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The exams are a bit difficult, but if you study hard, you can clear the exams without any arrears.
Other: I like to learn about machines.

Disappointed with hostel water because it is not purified water.
Placements: The highest package was 30000 and the lowest package is 9000. There are many companies like royal enfield, hundai etc. which are the top recruiters and many other good companies. Many students also got internship from many companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the course is average for mechanical and ct and ECE department labs are good but marine does not have any facilities and have common library. Facility of hostel is getting good facilities the food is okay for what we are paying. It does not have medical facilities.
Faculty: The teacher in college are professional and were very helpful and good qualified teaching. This course is curriculum relevant. Semester exams are not much difficult at first because of good coaching for the students. And the pass percentage is 35.
Other: I choose the course for good placement. The campus have good surroundings and scholarship and good environment with indoor and outdoor games.

It is a historic college. It provides good knowledge and good placements.
Placements: About 60-80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges between 6.5-8.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Zoho, TCS and Ashok Leyland visit our college for placements. I am working in Mahindra as a team leader with a salary package of 4 LPA. Around 30% of the students got an internship in companies like Ashok leyland and Tata.
Infrastructure: It is a 100 years old polytechnic college. It is an old college. It is surrounded by a well-developed environment. Sometimes cinema shooting is also conducted. The college provides Wi-Fi facility and a separate mechanical lab on the campus. It has a silent ambient library. The hostel is average, so I stayed in PG.
Faculty: I have seen the best teacher in my life at this college. If you listen and absorb classes correctly, then you will be best. Teachers in our college are well-experienced. The college offers autonomous syllabus, so you can study and get practical knowledge easily.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in the mechanical course. It celebrates a hostel day. Symposium named event is organised at our college. It conducts sports tournament at the state level.

It has absolutely good placements and facility, teachers where so good at teaching things

Placements: More than 70 %of the students were place during campus interview, The lowest package is 15000 rs. The highest package is 40000 rs. Ashok Leyland, Renault Nissan, blustar, sanmar are the top companies. Almost everyone got the internship. From those campus interviwed companies. Junior Engineer.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel is average and the food available in the canteen is also average but the sports facilities available ah good one. We has lot of time to focus on our district level matches. But there is no library, and Wi-Fi in the classrooms.
Faculty: The teachers were really helpful, the teached really good, it's all about how you interested in the teaching. Yes ofcourse? The workshop on here was literally like a small scale industry, which really helpful for the gain experience of an workplace. It is an autonomous college. If you study good you will pass easy.
Other: I choose because I am interested in mechanical engineering.

Review of Central Polytechnic College.
Placements: About 40% of students got their placements on our campus. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.7 LPA. Top companies like Godrej, Ford, Hyundai, and Infosys tend to recruit us. Nearly 20% of students got internships in Godrej. Top roles offered were DET and machine operator. I got placed in TVS Automobile Solution PVT Ltd., as a Diploma engineering trainee.
Infrastructure: None of the facilities were good except for the library. Canteen food was average. Sports and games were encouraged. Facilities were good for sports and games. It had one of the best libraries in Chennai with a huge collection of digital and manual books in it.
Faculty: Our faculty members were good and knowledgeable. This course made students ready for the industry. Exams were moderate. The pass percentage was 35%. Some of the teachers were passed-out students from the same college and they were very good at their subjects.
Other: I opted for this course because I was interested in machines and automobiles. The lab is the best part of this course. The study material and classrooms need to be improved. We had good cultural and other events which were organised by ourselves.

Good placements in 2022, good infrastructure, and facilities all are good.
Placements: About 60% and above students got their internships. The highest package is 98% and the lowest is 63%.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, libraries, workshops, and labs are available. Normal is not great but valuable for the amount. Normal room separate B.Ed for everyone food is better for other colleges. No water issues were there. Tight security in every facility is available. Uniforms were also sold in the college store at normal prices.
Faculty: The pass percentage is 40% little bit tough but all the questions are helpful to our course. All the questions are affordable to the subject. The course is curriculum relevant. The teachers and HODs are helpful to teach.
Other: Scholarships are available.
