If you can study by yourself, then it's the best place for you.

Placements: Placement here is not good. You can try it from outside campus. Asian Paints, Wipro, etc. come here for recruitment, but it takes only about 3-4 students per branch. But in campus placement, there's a very low salary, and your position in the company will not be good.

Infrastructure: Hostel and other infrastructure are good. Mess food is good; it gives the same quality as outside. Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries are good and easily accessible, but only by students. Jamia also has a good campus and a good sports complex with most equipment accessible by students.

Faculty: Semesters are not hard to pass, but it is hard to score well. Teachers are not good and don't help you out in many things. Even the teachers here are not as knowledgeable as they should be. 40% marks are required to qualify for any examination. If you want to pass, then you should score at least 40%.

Review of Jamia Millia Islamia.

Placements: I have got admission in a diploma in mechanical engineering (self-finance). Basically, self-finance is a little bit different from regular diploma courses. Only a few students get campus placement. The highest package is around 400000. It is a polytechnic course, which makes us industry-ready.

Infrastructure: The University of Polytechnic of Jamia Milia Islamia is the best building. It has its own library. Also, the central library and Zakir Hussain library are nearby polytechnics. The department library has Wi-Fi availability and movable chairs; also, in classes, separate chairs are for each student. I am not a hosteler.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly educated and kind in nature. They are very helpful. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is an industry-based course that makes us industry-ready. Once a workshop practical happens. A diploma course is based more on practical knowledge than theory. It is semester based and there are 3 semesters in 3 years.

Other: The university is ranked 3rd university in India, and it is situated in New Delhi, which provides different opportunities to work. As the fee for the course is comparatively low, JMI still provides scholarships to brilliant students.

Placements: About 75 to 80 percent of students get placement every year in technology-based companies. Students get jobs as Junior Engineers, Project Managers, and internships are offered from companies like Tech Mahindra, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI Bank, CDOT, and EXL, etc.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities, labs, classrooms, and libraries are very good, and the teachers are very supportive and helpful. Medical facilities are also provided in our college. One of the best doctors in our college is also available there. Sports complexes are also provided in Jamia.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. Knowledgeable quality is too good. No difficult semester exams because teachers are too good. Pass 40% minimum in semester exams. It's too easy to pass semester exams like sessional exams.

Other: Scholarships are provided by its valuable university.
