The college has good infrastructure and helpful teachers.

Placements: To be honest, in the course of B.Sc. in Mathematics, there are no placements like in engineering colleges. But many toppers in the university are from here (Chakdaha College). The possibilities for various internships in India are very high if you are from this college. It is one of the top colleges in University of Kalyani.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good, indeed. The labs have a very good ambiance. There is every instrument in labs. Chemistry and Physics labs have every required element. There are 12 computers and one projector in the Maths lab. There is a quite calm and attentive ambiance in the library. Free Wi-Fi is available, which makes Chakdaha College very special. Classrooms are well-decorated.

Faculty: The teachers in the Mathematics department are extremely knowledgeable. They are very helpful, and they help us even after class hours. Whenever we need help, professors are always there. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of exams is marginal. 95% of students manage to pass the exams.

Other: I chose this course because I have loved Mathematics since childhood, and the mathematics department of this college is the best in University of Kalyani, that's why I chose this college. The best thing about this college is the annual social program. The college union brings celebrities and singers to perform here, and the program makes students happy every year. This college also has NCC, which is a good extracurricular activity indeed.

Alumni are really good. Many students join IITs to pursue M.Sc, and then they get nice placements.

Placements: About 60% of the students get placed from our college. Most of the students opt for higher studies or start preparing for government jobs as our college does not provide any kind of campus placements. Students have to get placed on their own. However, students here are really good that they can be developed.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available here, but there are labs and library. Classrooms are good as it is a government-aided college. The hostel is available on the campus, but students do not stay there because most of them are from local areas. So, they can travel daily. The canteen is good, and it provides nice meals at a low price. Medical facilities are not available. Sports and games are not up to the mark as there is no playground.

Faculty: Our teachers are really helpful and honest. The connection between students and teachers is very nice. Teachers are always available in any situation for students, and also they are highly knowledgeable. Their teaching style is really good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I love to do mathematics, and I am satisfied with my course. I wish our campus could be better. Events and fest are organised, and scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities are also conducted.
