Established in the year 2010 Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management is located in Chennai. The institute is located in Chennai and it is popularly known as CAIIHM. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma courses, namely BSc in Catering and Hotel Administration, MBA in Hospitality Management & Catering Science, and diplomas in different streams. Yes, the college has a placement cell for the students of the college where they provide the placements of the students after the completion of their degree in hotel management. They assist the students with the job placement also. They have a tie up with different hotel management companies for the placement of the students. Companies like The Taj Group, Oberoi Group, ITC Group & etc. also provide internships to the students along with the jobs. The college provides proper training for their job placements, so the college has a very good placement cell overall.

Step 1: The mode of application is online. Eligible aspirants can apply for the course of their choice on the official website of the university.

Step 2: The university selects candidates for most of the UG courses based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For PG courses such as MBA, admission is based on TANCET score. 

Step 3: Once the selection rounds are completed, selected candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Selected candidates must confirm their seat with the course fee to avoid rejection.

The placement percentage has not been disclosed. However, the count of students placed has been released. During 2023 placements, 146 students were placed.
