The college should improve the placement department. There are no foreign opportunities.
Placements: Students who scored above 85% aggregate in academics got placed in star hotels while others who scored below 85% got placed in restaurants like A2b, Vasantha Bhavan, etc. The highest salary offered was Rs.18,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,500 per month and the average salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. The top recruiting companies of our college were Park Hyatt, Radisson Blu, Rain Tree, etc. We worked as captain or waiter during the course, and in the kitchen, we worked as commis III.
Infrastructure: The college looks below-average from outside but was pretty good inside. There were good lab facilities, as they look like a star hotel, and there is a library, and we can go there anytime. Hostel rooms were good, but we can't expect good food from hostels. However, there is an option if we don't want to eat the hostel food, then we don't need to pay the mess fees, and we can eat outside. I have played only one chess tournament and one cricket tournament in 3 years of college as there were no sports facilities. They conduct only classes, practicals, but don't conduct even cultural activities.
Faculty: Teachers were good, and have enough experience and knowledge to train us and make us ready for the hotel industry. The course curriculum was good in other departments, but needs to improve the kitchen practicals, as students couldn't learn anything. Many students were interested in the kitchen while joining, but they will change the department after 1 or 2 years from joining.
Other: Everything was good with this institute, but placements were not good. They don't provide proper information about abroad opportunities, and suddenly they told us that they couldn't afford to ready the money that they have asked for. they sent only 10 students to Malaysia or Singapore while the rest of the 4,000 students were suffering.

The placements are good and the infrastructure is nice during my studies.
Placements: Placements are good, but you must have AAA, then only you will get good placement. AAA means academic attendance attitude. While entering the placement department, you should be nicely groomed, which is the college rule. Without grooming, they will not allow entering the placement department.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It looks like a star hotel, and they have all facilities compared to other catering colleges. AC classrooms, good labs, etc., are available. Hostel facilities, free bus facilities, EMI facilities, are available. The campus is small, and there is no playground.
Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, skilled, and experienced people. Everyone worked abroad in more than 15 countries, so there is no problem for faculty. They are always like a good friend. They offer different types of courses like diploma, degree and masters degree.
Other: Other facilities are also there. If you want the scholarship, you should get the first rank in the semester. You should perform well in academics and your attitude should be good. Events are conducted yearly, and an annual day is also conducted. The campus is very small; no playground is available.
