If you are searching engineering college in Chhattisgarh, then CSIT will be the best.

Placements: Most of the companies visit the campus, but those are not too big or MNCs. So, I will suggest that don't expect too many placements from this college. But, time changes, so you can hope for the best. Sometimes some well-reputed companies visit, and they take some best students. Overall, I will say that you learn and take knowledge so that you can try outside of the campus also.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best I will say. In Bhilai 8 have seen best infrastructure in my college only. In the laboratories, all the equipment is available. Buildings, canteens, sports and grounds are good. So, I will give 95 marks out of 100 in infrastructure. All the design of the campus was designed by engineers from abroad. You will get the healthy atmosphere. All equipments in the laboratories are in working conditions. The classrooms are well-designed.

Faculty: In many branches, the faculty members are from the top background, and they are scholars. In every campus, you cant get all the faculty members and staff of the same level. So, here also you will get a mix, but you will get a healthy and competitive atmosphere for year future. Many personality development programmes are running in the college right now.

Love CSIT and its faculty members. I am proud to be a CSITien.

Placements: Many companies come to our college with a great package. They also provide pool campus with many other colleges, and many of my friends got selected in very good companies. The placement cell is very supportive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is quite different from any other colleges, it's very impressive by the look, and it is neat and clean. We have canteen and Nescafe. There are separate hostels for girls and boys and food of hostel mess is delicious according to my friends.

Faculty: The teaching quality here is far better than any other colleges in the state. The faculty members of every branch are very experienced and knowledgeable. The faculty of my branch are too good. They are highly qualified, and teaching skill is impressive. In labs, you will find every instrument for practical, and we have the latest equipment. Overall, my college is great.

Satisfied with the teaching methods but absolutely dissatisfied by the placements

Placements: The placements for my batch were average. Only a few companies from the IT background came during our placements. Rest were from the non-engineering background. Most of the companies came gave the roles of back-end operations. The average package was around 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are up to the mark. Hostels were good and rooms were spacious. Sports facilities were also good. The food in the canteen was very much affordable and also good & hygienic. The main concern was the Wi-Fi. One of the hostels was equipped with the Wi-Fi. Also, the speed was very slow on the campus.

Faculty: The college strictly follows the curriculum prescribed by the university. Faculty members are knowledgeable in their field and are always ready to sort out the problems faced by the students. The student-faculty ratio was also good. There was the lack of the industry exposure for the students.

Other: Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology (CSIT) Drug is one of the top college of Chattisgarh. It has superior infrastructure, well maintained laboratory along with all essential equipments. Students have healthy environment in college campus. Student associations are there, which provide platform to groom up themselves in all aspects. Placements are also good but unsatisfactory in respect to the package and company profile but still after 4 year of engineering from this college students who groomed him/herself are definitely capable to be placed in MNC's. Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed diploma program through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply.
