B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2018
3.8
The best college in our area.
Placements: Placement chance was high after the course and nursing course was added. The highest package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest package offered was 7.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Apolo, Manipal, and top hospital. Many students got internship opportunities. College was best. Posting and other government postings were common after the course. Nursing was a professional course and placement was not hard after the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college was poor in comparison with the other colleges. Although most facilities, like library, Wi-Fi, etc., were available. The maintenance part was really bad. The food we get in hostel is okay. Hostel had good facilities. Sports were conducted in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were good, they were no doubt qualified and helpful. They were always ready to mentor students whenever we needed them. Since college was an autonomous college, they have its curriculum, but no doubt it was based on current market demands. Semester exams were not that difficult, you could easily pass the exams if you studied. The best college in our area.

The best college for medicos.
Placements: Everyone got placement in our hospital itself. The baseline salary is around 24,000/-. The working environment is really good. It's easy to get recruitment in any hospital after this course, especially if you're a CMC graduate. All the students from the batch of 2020 have got placement in CMC Hospital Vellore.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi, simulation labs for every department, a very good library, computer lab, chapel, etc. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, the rooms are very sophisticated, there are a gym, pantry, prayer room, recreation hall, library, and much more in the hostel. The mess food is very good. The meal is planned based on the RDA.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, they work in the wards as well as in college, and they teach us. The classes and the teaching material are very self-explanatory and understandable. The course curriculum is very relevant; they not only focus on the theory aspect, but they also focus on the practical aspects through which we gain enough skill and confidence to learn and do procedures on patients. Exams are from DR MGR University, the college gives us adequate time and leave to learn for the exams, and the teachers are very concerned about our exams.
Other: Our college is NABH accredited.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure gives the best learning experience for the course and college facilities aids it. The hostel is comfortable offering nutritional meal three times a day with evening snacks, health call and open to sport grounds and has a mini super market to get necessities.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, competitive, uptodate qualified, passionate and compassionate passing on the qualities to us. The course curriculum is relevant and uptodate making ready for the industry. The annual exams in first year is hard to get through but if obyained the other years become easier as long as you study.

It is one of the best nursing colleges in India.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed in campus selections. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting organisations are government hospitals like SMS Medical College and Hospital. Internships are also good at our college. Students get internships in our medical college. Top roles offered are registered nurse and male nurse in government and private hospitals.
Infrastructure: Our campus is good in terms of facilities. There are well-defined roads and proper buildings. Wi-Fi facilities are available all over the campus and hostel. Library facilities are provided on the SADTM campus, and students can read books until 5 PM. Classrooms are beautiful and well-maintained. The mess food is good. The head chef is Mr. Prateek, who cooks great food. Sports facilities are available. We have volleyball, football, kho-kho, badminton, etc. A badminton court is provided in the hostel itself.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and most of them are nurses in the hospital. They know how to teach students, and they pay attention to everyone. They are friendly but strict at the same time. The course is vast and extensive.

Other: It is a college which will mentor us completely. The place where you can learn and experience the feel of true learning with hands-on experience, which will enhance your confidence level and knowledge. This is the only college which provides excellent clinical knowledge using evidence-based approach.

Good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: All students in the batch are required to do 3 years of internship in the college hospital. So everyone has a chance of getting placed in the hospital right after finishing the course and can earn Rs.25,000. We can become nurse managers, tutors, lecturers, or staff nurses.
Infrastructure: Proper classrooms with projectors are available. Free Wi-Fi is available for both students and teachers. Proper rooms with good bathroom and toilet facilities are available for around 1,000 students, with about 4 students per room. The mess is huge and can accommodate everyone.
Faculty: Very knowledgeable and friendly teaching faculty are present. The curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for work. They get hands-on practical experience in patient care. Semester exams are of medium difficulty. Students are required to go on hospital duty and learn how to care for patients, thereby preparing them for the future.
Other: This course has a lot of opportunities and immediate placement in hospitals. We can get a visa easily and work abroad too.

It is the best college to study. We have good facilities.
Placements: CMC is the best College to study medicine and other courses that it offers. We have less number of students in every batch as compared to other colleges which give us a good opportunity to study well. We are given good internships for our exposure. The study materials and the way of studying are amazing. They provide the students with job placements with a salary in Christian medical college itself for 3 years. Apart from education, students are also taught moral values. Students are allowed to participate in various activities other than studies.
Infrastructure: The hostel is well developed. It has around 250 rooms with proper ventilation. The discipline needed is really good. Students are made sure they abide by the rules in the hostel. The food quality is good as well and we have a good environment to explore. We have a reading room in the library and of course, we are provided with medical facilities. In case a student is sick they are supposed to get in touch with the medical group inorder to get well. We have one outdoor stadium called the oval, apart from basketball, volleyball, tennis- lawn and table, and badminton courts available both on the college and the hospital campuses.
Faculty: The teaching quality is perfect and the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The way how they teach is easier to understand. If one doesn't understand, it's always good to ask them again. The course curriculum is relevant. The students get enthusiastic about their course and good exposure. The semester exams are easier to pass if one studies well.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do nursing. I became passionate about it after my 12th so CMC was a good option. I think there is nothing to improve about my course.

The official cut off was 22000-25000 rank for general category students.

Past Years' Cutoff can be checked as the NEET Cut off is declared by NATA.

NEET UG 2023 Cutoff Percentile was around 50 for UR, 45 for UR-PwD. It was 40 for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates.
