CMC, Vellore is a private college that is ranked number three (3) by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) in the year 2025 under the medical colleges category. This college offers various UG, PG, diploma, & various other courses for students interested in pursuing Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health Sciences, & various other streams.  Christian Medical College, Vellore also offers distance education for UG (undergraduate), PG & other courses. 

CMC Vellore is one of the top institutes to pursue medical courses in India. The institute accepts NEET exam scores for admission to MBBS course. The candidate have to appear for college level entrance exam + selection process and PI .The entrance exam consist of two steps. However, for Christain candidates applying under the Minority Network category, a written test in Bible knowledge will be conducted at  Vellore campus. Further, CMC Vellore accepts AP EAMCET for admission to its BSc nursing course. Candidates must seperately apply for the exam and appear for the exam. 

National Testing Agency announced NEET UG Result 2025 on June 14, 2025. Currently, NEET UG Counselling 2025 special stray vacancy round registration is going on. Last date to participate in this round is Dec 20, 2025 upto 3 pm and result will be out on Dec 23, 2025. 

CMC Vellore offers BSc for a duration of four-years. Candidates who have passed Class 12 Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate can apply for the course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Additionally, CMC Vellore to BSc  is based on entrance exam followed by a personal interview round.

The CMC College has an attached hospital where treatments are provided to patients. The college gives free and subsidised care to marginalised people, the poorest of the poor. Patients who have no means of livelihood & who are referred to CMC Vellore by its social workers in CMC's community centres recieve treatment from here.
