This college is good, and course is also good.
Placements: There are about 600 members placed in this course. The highest package is 20 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA for the CSE course. Capgemini is tied up with the college. Every year, a drive happens. Fifty percent of them get internships in this course. T-Hub offers roles as normal employees.
Infrastructure: The first-year facilities are good, and some are not. About the infrastructure, it is good compared to other colleges available for the course. Wi-Fi is okay. Labs are good and well maintained. Classrooms are also good. The library is fine to study in a quiet place. We can study peacefully.
Faculty: Some are helpful and some are not. Some are qualified and some are knowledgeable. It is a little not helpful for students to learn new languages from some teachers too. It is a little hard, but the teaching is good. The course curriculum is good. It does not make the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I did not have an option. This course was in hype at the time of my admission, and the course is good. We can learn many things from B. Tech life, and there is a lot to learn from this B.Tech. Teachers provide industry-level study for students, which improves them. The events are good, the scholarship is good, and extracurricular activities are okay. The thing they need to improve is some teachers.

If you are someone who is looking for good and decent college, CMR Engineering College is for you.
Placements: 60-70% of students are placed. New training is still going on for some students. The highest package is 45 LPA, lowest is 2 LPA - 3 LPA, and average is 4 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Capgemini, and Polytech. 30% of students got internships. They conduct 3-4 internship training courses to get students upskilled and grab the opportunities. Roles are dependent on the company.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure of CMR Engineering College, it is pretty good and we can see greenery everywhere. It has a peaceful environment. Every branch has a separate block, Wi-Fi is good, library has huge collection of books, and quality of food in mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities can be provided. Sports and games have very high potential.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly. Teaching quality is good but not great for some faculty members. Curriculum is relevant. They came up with a new club to upskill the students. Coming to exams, it is not that difficult. Pass percentage is 80% as a B.Tech student. I would like to say that the student has to be self learning rather than waiting for teachers to make them learn.
Other: As a CMR Engineering College student, I would like to say that the training and placement cell is really giving opportunities, not only for placement, but also for communication and leadership qualities. They are organising the events on the campus by the students, and they are very encouraging.

Great college to study, with great and supportive faculty members.
Placements: The percentage of students who got the placements was like 70% at my time. The highest package was mine which was around 12.5 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, etc. Percentage of students got internships was about 70%. Top role offered were junior developer.
Infrastructure: It provided great infrastructure for the college. It had great buildings, with a bunch of cool breeze and greenery. There were facilities of both the hostel AC and non AC. The hostel had the facility of Wi-Fi too. On every floor, there were like 2 Wi-Fi routers with good and decent speed. The classroom also had Wi-Fi connection. The mess was clean but the food had a little issue. The medical facilities were good, because on the campus there was a college of pharmacy too. The grounds were very big with the nets to play.
Faculty: During my time of study, the college was not autonomous and was affiliated with JNTU (Jawahar Lal Nehru Technical University). The exam papers came from the university, and were checked in the centre too. But now the college was autonomous, and the faculty made the question paper themselves, and checked it by themselves only.
Other: It was a good college offering great courses. There were fests too, like ramp walk model show, dance show, prize distribution, and many more events, with the judges and faculty with the chief guest.

Good faculty, well-maintained campus, and decent placements.
Placements: In our batch, around 75%-80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is about 8 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Accenture. Nearly 60% of students got internships in reputed companies like TCS, Cognizant, and HCL. Common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and system engineer, providing good career growth opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-maintained infrastructure with spacious classrooms, fully equipped labs, Wi-Fi, and a rich library. Hostel facilities are good with sufficient and hygienic food in the mess, a clean environment, medical care, and provisions for sports and games, ensuring a comfortable stay for students.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, and the faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry needs. Semester exams are strict, but some questions are easy, making the pass percentage around 80%-85%.
Other: My course is Computer Science, so in this we can learn all the coding and other activities, also in other batches, only they need one specific activity. All things are best in our college about events, fests, campus crowd, scholarship, connectivity, etc. The best college.

We can learn and earn as CMR is the best college.
Placements: The training and placement cell facilitates the process of placements of students passing out from the institute, besides collaboration with loading organisations and institutes in setting up internships, CoEs, MoUs, and training programs for students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good labs and good systems. The Computer Science and Engineering department at CMR Engineering College was established in the year 2010 with a vision to help the IT boom and fulfill the need of dynamic software engineers globally. Since then, especially in the last five years of the IT revolution, the department has taken long strides and is now among that.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They have good teaching skills. We can learn from the best faculty members at CMR University. Here, we can explore architecture, economics, commerce, engineering and technology, law, research, and humanities. There are good faculty members and they are more friendly.
Other: There are good and strict rules.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements for IT students.
Placements: For the B.Tech CSE (2020-2024) course, around 70 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is ₹12 LPA the lowest is ₹3 LPA and the average is ₹4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS Cognizant Accenture Capgemini Wipro and Infosys. Around 60-70 percent of students got internships mostly with startups or mid tier companies like Internshala partners TCS iON and local firms. The roles offered are software developer analyst QA tester and technical support.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has well-equipped labs high speed WiFi smart classrooms, and a central library with e-resources. The hostel rooms are decent with 24/7 security WiFi and average facilities. Mess food is manageable with a rotating menu but is repetitive at times. The campus includes a healthcare unit a sports ground a basketball court and indoor games for recreation.
Faculty: Most faculty are experienced and helpful, especially in core subjects. The curriculum is updated as per JNTU standards and includes mini-projects, coding labs, and industry talks. Semester exams are moderate if you attend classes. The pass percentage is around 85-90%, depending on the subject.
Other: The total fee is around ₹4,50,000 (including hostel and mess). Considering the placements, facilities, and exposure, the college gives a decent ROI for IT-focused students. Campus life includes annual tech and cultural fests, active student clubs, and guest lectures. The crowd is a mix of serious learners and active club participants. Connectivity is good via city buses and shared auto.

The college lacks practicality and often pressures students to mug the concepts.
Placements: Only the top 20% of students get placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Most of the recruiters are service-based companies, and the top company is Siemens. Not even 10% of students get internships. The roles offered are software development and other service-based roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the projectors and computers do not work properly as they are of the old generation. The hostel maintenance is good, but the food is of low quality and students often suffer from stomach and digestion-related issues.
Faculty: The lectures are more concerned with notes and exams rather than helping students gain hands-on expertise. The course curriculum is relevant and up to date, but practicality is missing. The exam difficulty is the average level, and the pass percentage is too high.
Other: I chose this course as I observed the scope for it in the market. The best thing about my course is the other skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and other related skills that can be gained. The only thing I want to improve is that we focus more on the practical applications rather than mugging up the syllabus. The fests and events are not that great and are conducted as a formality rather than a celebration.

Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Siemens, etc., are the recruiting companies. The students who got internships is not many. Software developer, etc., are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good. Classrooms and library are also good. Sometimes we face difficulties in the lab due to technical issues, not all systems work properly. Food in the hostel is okay. The food in the canteen is okay, but not worth it. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The semester exams are not so hard. At times, one subject paper might be hard, but we can crack it. The pass percentage will be above 85%. We need to prepare according to the syllabus instead of going for important questions.

NSHM Kolkata is a better option. As it has a better rank. It's one of the good MBA institutes in West Bengal. NSHM gas a good placement as well as better ROI. Check the latest ranking and cut-off admitted in both the colleges. BBA gives a foundation for higher courses especially MBA. So, NSHM-Kolkat
