Has a really good infrastructure and a peaceful environment.

Placements: Out of 22 students 6 of them were placed in well known companies. The highest package offered for M.Sc. Biotech is 40,000rs per month and the lowest is about 10,000rs per month. One of the top recruiting company is zifo located in Chennai. Edumatics also recruits students from this course. About 50-60%of the students enrolled as interns under zifo and edumatics. Top rolls offered are fellow researcher, molecular biologist, quality analyst etc.

Infrastructure: Cms college of Science and Commerce provides has a spacious and nature friendly infrastructure. Classrooms are well lit and spacious with projector facilities. Labs are well-equipped and kept clean. Books of all departments are available in the college library. Girls hostel is located 4-5kms outside of the college campus. Safe and 24hour security. Each room consists of 4girls with common bathroom for each floor. Food provided is of good quality, non veg are available 2 times a week. Medical facilities are not available inside the hostel (private hospitals nearby). Sports and games are not supported inside the hostel. Boys hostel located inside the college campus also has similar features.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. The teaching quality varies with different teachers. But overall teaching quality is quite acceptable. Yes, this course is very much curriculum relevent and ready the students to face all the circumstances needed in a workspace. Semester exams are held on time. The difficulty level of the exams are average. Pass percentage is 40 for a semester exam.

Other: I chose this course as I am curious about different forms of life. The best thing about this course is that you are open to work at any life Science industry. Students involvement in the college events can be improved.
