A good college with all types of facilities and a good atmosphere.

Placements: About 50% of students are placed in various laboratories and pharmaceutical, companies across India mainly in the states of Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The companies are offering a minimum salary of 12000 rs at the beginning, whereas about 5% of students are placed with a starting salary of 20000 rs each year. The top recruiting companies include sun Pharma, Cipla, and also various clinical laboratories. The students are placed mainly as lab technicians, managers and lab assistants.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network is available only for the computer department. Labs are fully equipped with new and modern clinical tools. A vast library having a huge collection of text books relevent in the field of microbiology is available in the library. I am unaware of the college hostel since I am staying outside the college. The canteen is named yummy tummy, where the food items including lunch, snacks, tea etc. Are available at a reasonable price. There are no medical facilities available inside the college. Various sports mainly cricket and badminton are available for the students interested.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified with a minimum PhD holder. They are so interested in teaching and they are so good at teaching. The problem with their teaching is they will not take classes purely in English. However, they can convey the messages to other state students also, because the important points and terms are discussed in English.

Other: I chose, this course only because the placements for this course are going well in this college and microbiology is the major I am interested in. I suggest my teachers take classes purely in English. Events are taking place in the college by various departments a minimum of thrice a week. The college is vast and it is a little bit crowded.
