B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Minor in Electric Vehicle/Automation/AI and ML) - Batch of 2030

The infrastructure is really nice, and the campus is also amazing.
Placements: It is good but not excellent. Placements are higher in the CSE branch, while in core branches, they are average. As I am in the first year, I do not have much experience with it. Overall, according to me, it is pretty good.
Infrastructure: One thing I really like about the college is its tinkering lab. It is amazing for making digital projects and provides an opportunity to show your creativity. Otherwise, the infrastructure and campus are good. The canteen is also good, and all types of food are available.
Faculty: Teachers are good enough. They are knowledgeable and professional. They are supportive and updated with today's technologies. Otherwise, all are good, though it also depends on your experience.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I have an interest in cars and automobiles. I love learning about them, and that is the reason.

Great for studying as well as sports.
Placements: Top roles are Software Engineering, Digital Marketing, and Sales Interns, and some finance roles too. Software engineering roles offer around 6 LPA. There is an 80% placement record. Internships are available both on campus and through industrial companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available on campus. In the hostel, both AC and non-AC rooms are available. Along with 24/7 electricity and drinking water, gym and sports facilities, and various events. The food is average and sometimes okay.
Faculty: Mostly, teachers are great. There are both young and experienced teachers, so coordination is good. The course is up to date and curriculum-oriented. The pass percentage is around 90–95%. Exams come from the curriculum only, so passing is easy if you attend classes.
Other: I like Computer Science and its applications, that’s why I chose it. I want teachers to be more practical. Events and fests are regular. There is greenery and sports facilities.

Review of COER University.
Placements: Around 50% of students were placed from my course/department. Students with good communication skills and internships got better opportunities. The highest package is around 8 - 10 LPA, the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2-2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and equipped with projectors and smart boards for presentations and lectures. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facilities to all students. The library has a large collection of academic books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful at all. They are not supportive. They are well qualified, but the teaching quality is not up to the mark. The course curriculum does not seem relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty.

Core college is a good college in Roorkee area.
Placements: There is no minimum percentage required to sit for placements, if you have cleared all the previous semesters, you can participate. The highest package in my college, as I know, is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include ITC, Patanjali, Arvind Fashion, Amazon, Infosys, Havells, Bosch, Byjus, Vinove, and CEAT. The internship program is not provided by the college, it depends on us, and we can do it wherever we want. The roles I got in my course include class coordinator, library assistant, and campus tour guide.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course and department are very good. They provide Wi-Fi in the library, separate labs, and smart classrooms. The hostel facilities are not very good, but the food quality is decent. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good because the teachers are very helpful and qualified. The course curriculum and activities are also good, and they prepare us for the industry and our future. The exam system in our college is challenging; during exams, there are two faculty members for one classroom with 25 students. The pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it is a professional course and gives better opportunities for my future. One area I would like to improve is my communication skills. There are lots of events and fests on campus, though the crowd is not very large. Scholarships depend on the students’ eligibility. Extracurricular activities are also available.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) - Batch of 2029

Satisfied with college because of teachers' knowledge, faculty, good facilities and good placement.
Placements: The highest package of college is going to be 44 LPA. It is one of the best colleges in Roorkee. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Infosys, etc. Maximum 80% of students got an internship, and 60 to 70% students got placed. Almost 400 to 500 students are in pharmacy.
Infrastructure: In my department, there is a computer lab, a science lab, Wi-Fi, good quality classrooms and a library. Hostels are also good there. The quality of food is also good in the canteen, and medical facilities are also available there. Sports and games are also recognised by teachers for students.
Faculty: Teaching quality is excellent there. Teachers are very thoughtful and helpful, and of course, knowledgeable also. Semester exams are not so hard, but practice is important. The pass percentage is almost 40%. Teachers are getting help you to pass the semester exam.
Other: I chose pharmacy because I loved to read and gain knowledge about medicine and medical terminology. Events are also excellent here. Singers come, and a DJ night is also available.

College is good for local. Faculty members are good. Infrastructure is not good as expected.
Placements: I am a BCA 2023 pass-out batch student. About 10% of students got placed, as usually students want to pursue higher studies. The companies that came offered packages ranging from the lowest 3.6 LPA to the highest 7–8 LPA. The average is 4–5 LPA. Top recruiting companies mainly came from IT, while a major portion also came from marketing. Our batch got very few internships. Most students were not interested in the placement process. Companies were also not coming to campus as expected. Intern and training roles were provided.
Infrastructure: Facilities were not great as expected. The classroom infrastructure was good, but the lab devices were usually broken or not working as intended. The quality of facilities was not good. But the mess food was acceptable. Medical facilities were good, as university also had medical and ayurvedic courses. In sports and games, we could expect some facilities, but not much.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Teachers were educated, qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The course curriculum was relevant and focused on making students industry-ready by organizing activities for soft skills and communication development. Semester exams were not very hard, but students still needed to study and be prepared. The pass percentage was about 33% overall. 33% separately in external exams for management courses (BCA).
Other: I wanted to explore other courses rather than technical courses. The best thing about the course was that it did not have a complicated curriculum. More focused teaching would have been better, and adding more subjects could improve it. Events were not very good. The campus did not have much crowd, and campus life was average, but there was good connectivity among students. Scholarships were provided for rankers or students with decent percentages in various qualification tests. Extracurricular activities were available for students to participate in.
