College Of Engineering Roorkee, review of college hostel, food, faculty, and teaching.

Placements: College of Engineering Roorkee offers moderate placements. Almost half of the students get placed every year in their specific fields. The highest package is 10 lacs per year and the lowest package is about 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Godrej, Bhel companies, L&T, etc.

Infrastructure: Hostels are having good and spacious rooms with clean toilets and Wi-Fi facilities. College infrastructure is all good; labs are well-equipped with instruments and machines, and classrooms are also spacious with good ventilation. College has one canteen and the food is average.

Faculty: Teachers of COER University are very helpful and we'll be knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good also and the students have to maintain at least 75% of attendance to appear in the examination. The courses offered for every branch are relevant for every student. Semester exams are not very difficult.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest. I have the best faculty members in the mechanical engineering course. I think there should be improvement in the student quality. Events also take place in good amount.

Best faculty and facilities And good infrastructure.

Placements: In the mechanical branch of our college, the placement package is not very high, but students can get a good package in placements under 50 LPA. The top recruiters for mechanical engineering in Cover University are TATA, MAHINDRA, HERO MOTOCORP, SIEMENS, etc. The highest was around 40 LPA. The lowest and average package is around 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are very good and clean, and Wi-Fi is also available. The mess food is also very good. There are many mechanical labs, such as a workshop, fitting shop, AUTOCAD lab for 3D designing, electric vehicle lab, and Chemistry lab, among others. The classrooms are good and have projectors installed.

Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and provides better guidance. Every professor has well over 15 years of experience. The teaching method is also very polite and understandable by students. The semester exams were not very hard; every student who has at least done some studies or attended more lectures can easily pass. The pass percentage was around 90%.

Other: There are many events organized by various clubs of the college and NGO groups for helping people.

Review of College of Engineering Roorkee.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. Placements are very good as compared to other colleges in Roorkee.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Hostel facilities are excellent. Our campus has 75 acres of land. The facilities are decent. Our classrooms are hygienic and well-equipped. Library contains all required books and materials for students. Our campus environment is good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very good and supportive. Teachers and staff members are well-disciplined and very knowledgeable. Classes are conducted online as well.

Other: It is the best college in Uttarakhand.

It is a very good place to start your technical education.

Placements: Every year, almost 65% of students get placed with decent jobs. It's very rare that students get internship opportunities from college, so almost everyone has to look for an internship on their own. Mechanical is a core branch, so they guide us about the industry 4.0 scenario.

Infrastructure: The facilities are quite good, and you can get everything inside the campus. There aren't many restrictions, and the environment is friendly. The hostel has a sports court with equipment and also gyms. Food quality is good at decent prices. We get four meals a day.

Faculty: The teachers are always very helpful. They are well-qualified, especially in mechanical. Almost 50% of faculty completed their PhDs from respective IITs. The course curriculum is relevant and gets updated as per the market demands. It's difficult to score good marks in exams. The pass percentage is 35%.

My college campus is very suitable.

Placements: About 70% of the students of my course get placement through the college. The highest annual package of student of our college is 17 lacs per annum. There are so many MNC's which recruiter the students. Mostly every students of my course got internship from private and government companies like bhel, mahindra and wipro.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is full of facilities. Like there is a good Wi-Fi facility in our college campus. The labs are highly equipped with the latest technology. The classes are well hygienic and well maintained. Our library is also very good as there are many books which guide the students in their studies. There are total 7 hostel in our college 4 for boys and 3 for girls. There are well hygienic room and good food is provided in the hostel. There is facility of gym and sports equipment.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful and they are also very qualified, the minimum qualification of teacher are post graduate. The method of their teaching is very good. As I am doing engineering from mechanical it is very relevant in industries. The minimum criteria of a student to pass the exam is 33%.

It is the best technical college in Uttarakhand.

Placements: Placements in our college are good even in core branches. About 79% of the students from our course get placement. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA. Major companies like PPAP Automotive Limited, Asahi India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Rockman Industries, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The college provides classrooms, labs, library and residential facilities with a fast Wi-Fi facility. The hostel has Wi-Fi, common rooms and common bathrooms. The college has a well maintained and equipped cafe, ATM, hobby clubs, etc.

Faculty: Some of the faculty members in our college have international teaching exposure. Many faculty members also have industrial exposure which in turn help us learn more industry oriented. Faculty members are PhD holders, and M.Tech qualified from reputed institutes and universities like IITs and NITs.

Best Engineering College in Uttarakhand.

Placements: The placement of the college is more than the average. The college invites a number of big and renowned companies like Panasonic, Tata motors, TCS, byjus, Mahindra, etc. The highest package is about 40 lacs and the lowest is about 4 lacs with an average of 6 lacs per annum. There is a separate cell called COER placement cell for this.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. There is separate blocks for each department. Each department has its own laboratories and faculty members. The hostels are also big. There are separate hostels for boys and girls of different years. The quality of the food is also nice.

Faculty: The faculty members of different departments are very hard working and laborious. They are well experienced and knowledgeable. They regularly use different modes of teaching to make us understand all the concepts. They organise doubt classes to clear our doubts even after the end of the class.

Other: The college has a big crowd. The campus is spread in more than 70 acres of land. We have our own cricket, football, kabbadi, volleyball and Basketball fields. Along with these there are separate gyms for boys and girls. There are different clubs, committees and societies which regularly organise their events and fests.
