The college had a history that was decent.
Placements: There is no percentage of students getting placements, as it is just below 5%, and moreover, nothing is that. There is only fraudulent recruitment being done in the college, as companies hire students during placements and drop them after 2-3 months. College displays fake placement posters, starting with different students who grabbed these packages, but 90% of them are fake.
Infrastructure: I was in the hostel for 2 years, and in those two years, the Wi-Fi didn't work a single day, and they are stating themselves as an engineering college. Classrooms and labs are present on the campus. There is no AC facility, due to which it becomes too hot in class.
Faculty: There are only 2% of the faculty members who have teaching skills and have dedicated themselves to teaching students with clear explanations. The factor is that the college itself does not provide payments to facilities on time, due to which there is this existing condition.

Decent infrastructure and faculty but needs much improvement in placements.
Placements: Placements are not that good. Most claims are fake. On-campus placements are less. Mostly placement claims are just internships in which students are removed after 6 months. The highest package is 50 LPA. The average package is 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Companies that come in placements are Strategies, Capgemini, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Labs are available and well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. The hostel facilities are decent. I am not a hostelite so can't say that much but overall infrastructure is nice and one of the best in Roorkee.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and educated and have masters from IITs and NITs. The curriculum is very much related to GATE and any other exams relevant to engineering students. Semester exams are not that hard, anyone can pass easily. They are really helpful in studies and are polite and nice.
Other: They conduct fests.

Placements: COER University claimed 90% of students are placed, but in reality, 30 to 40% of students are placed. The highest package is 18,00,000 per annum, and the lowest package is 1.5 lakh per annum, with the average package being 3.5 lakh per annum. Many companies visit our college, like Mahindra, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, the infrastructure is good and well-maintained, with many facilities available here, like a cafeteria, gym, basketball court, and more. COER University also provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are very good, well-maintained, and have good infrastructure.
Faculty: In our college, teachers are very helpful to students and well-qualified. Their teaching quality is also good. Semester exams are difficult, but we have to focus on our goals and work hard during the semester exams so we can achieve our goals perfectly and easily.
Other: I chose this course because I love to make websites and coding. Events and fests are also organized by the college, like the fresher’s party, etc.

A college with good infrastructure and knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: Approximately 80% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 10 LPA. Around 80-90% of students got internships. The top role offered is a software engineer. Most of the time students get sales jobs in the B.Tech department. Only a few students get engineering roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, a hostel, a playground, a cafe, medical, and many more facilities are available in the college. We have good and huge infrastructure. There is a clean area. Our college has a parking area for cars and bikes. It has great security at every gate.
Faculty: It is one of the best colleges in Roorkee. Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. They are well-graduated and help you in every situation. After graduation, students are free to call for help. Semester exams are not very hard. Students can clear exams easily by working hard and with good learning.

My honest review of my nice college, COER Roorkee.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is about 60-70%. The average package of my course is about 3-4 LPA, while the highest package went up to 37 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, Futuredrive, and Innovista recently visited for campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course is good and well-maintained. The academic block for the B.Tech course is very large. The libraries and lab equipment are well-kept. The ambience and cleanliness of the classrooms and computing labs are excellent and well-maintained for the students.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and kind, always available to assist us in many ways. They are highly educated and come from prestigious colleges. There are two internal assessments and one external paper. The difficulty level of the papers is not very high, and the passing criteria is 40%.
Other: I have always wanted to pursue B.Tech with Computer Science as I have a deep interest in it. One thing I wish could be improved is the ability to avail books from the library without having to search for them. The college organizes a big fest once a year called ZION, in which big celebrities come for concerts.
