My college is very satisfying because of the supportive teaching staff, with a good placement figure
Placements: At the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Pusa, the total strength of students is 44. From these, approximately 10 to 12 students are placed, therefore, 30-40% of students are placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 6.50 LPA, and the average is 3.50 LPA. Top recruiters are Pradhan, TAFE, Mahindra, etc. A maximum number of students get internships in different companies.
Infrastructure: At RPCAU, all the facilities that are required for students are present, like the sports complex, a central university library, a shopping complex, and a library having 5G Wi-Fi services. The classrooms are fully digital and 5G enabled labs. For performing practicals, 6 to 7 workshops are available. The most beautiful is our hostel, it is a 400 bed hostel, which is complete with all advanced facilities like Wi-Fi, CCTV, and well clean. The mess provides quality food for a fee of Rs. 3,000. University facilities that open 24/7. In the case of sports, something is missing, so I hope that after some years it will improve.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very intelligent, highly qualified, and authors of many books. One of the best things is the teaching skills of their knowledge related to farm machinery and agriculture, so this course is relevant. In our course of 4 years, there are 3 industrial training programs of 1, 2, and 3 months, due to this, students are ready to work in industry. The semester exam is something difficult, having 50 marks in fill in the blanks and true or false. The whole semester, out of 100 marks, we get 55 marks and we pass the exams.
Other: I come from a farming background, and I have some interest in farm machinery, so I chose this course. The course is full of practical knowledge, which includes a training program, industrial visits, and project work. In my course, we study the subject of Civil Engineering, so I suggest reducing the subject related to the civil department. In our university, no event or fest is organized, but our university is the best from a study point of view, and there is no disturbance in academics. The campus is well-maintained, with greenery. Connectivity is not an issue, as Samastipur Railway Station is just 25 km away. For other state students, ICAR gives the NTS scholarship of Rs. 3,000 per month. Extracurricular activities involve sports and debate competitions.

Life as an agricultural engineering student .
Placements: Earlier, there were not many good placement offers, but there have been a change. From now on, more companies are coming for placement, and decent packages are being offered. Some companies are Tetra Pak, Mahindra, and Mother Dairy, and some students have been placed well and are interested in higher studies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards, and a lecture theater is also present. The hostel is equipped with Wi-Fi 24 hours a day, and the mess is completely controlled and managed by the students. There are TT rooms, badminton courts, and volleyball courts available inside the hostel.
Faculty: The curriculum is well designed with reference to ICAR guidelines and helps to develop the research mindset from scratch to advance in students minds. The faculty members are well qualified and help to overcome the curriculum along with extra skill development.

The college is best for studies, and teachers are well-educated.
Placements: About 40% of students get placed through college placements. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, while the lowest is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TAFE Tractors and Pradhan. Around 40% of the placed students secure jobs at Pradhan, while approximately 60% get placed at TAFE Tractors.
Infrastructure: The college has smart classrooms, a lecture theatre, virtual classrooms, computer labs, and a workshop for tractor and engineering work. All these facilities are available on campus. In the hostel, the food quality is average, and medical facilities are also provided. The hostel has Wi-Fi along with many other facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers have well knowledge in their respective fields and are very helpful. They support students with both personal and academic issues as much as they can. The course curriculum is highly relevant to practical work and helps students get better knowledge. Semester exams depend on the students. If they are hardworking, exams are not tough. Around 98% of students pass the exams easily.
Other: I am interested in agricultural machines, which is why I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that it helps us understand the working principles of farm machinery and the problems faced by farmers. If someone wants to join the college for campus life, this may not be the right choice. However, for those who want to focus on studying, it is the best choice.

Review of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering. It contains around 37 students, but the capacity is 44. Talking about placements, students often go for higher studies through GATE or CAT, but, there are placements. Companies like TAFE, Mahindra, Dehat, etc., come to our campus, offering an average package of around 3.5-4 LPA. The highest package is around 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best, according to Agricultural University. There is a library called the University Library, which contains around 4 lakh books. The Wi-Fi speed is excellent. There are gardens like Saraswati Garden, Biodiversity Park, Titli Park, T3 Park, and River Front. There is also a sports complex offering different sports like badminton, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, etc. The hostel is the best, and every basic facility is available there. There is also a university hospital for any medical emergency.
Faculty: Here, faculty members are well qualified. They are mostly Ph.D. holders from top institutions like IITs, IARIs, etc. They are very helpful. Talking about the course, it is currently emerging and has a very vast future. The course is designed in such a way that students are automatically ready for agriculture with incorporated technology. Semester exams are not that tough. There are two exams they are Mid and End. The Mid exam is of 30 marks, and the End exam is of 50 marks.
Other: The best things about this university are its garden and its hostel. They are very affordable. There is also a winter fest in our college called VRISTI. There is the Kisan Mela. Every year, different types of festivals are celebrated in our university. There are always different kinds of workshops happening. Talking about scholarships, ICAR provides NTS, which is Rs.3000 per month for UG students, but you have to maintain a minimum of 7 CGPA.

Q:   Is the BTech Agricultural Engineering syllabus the same across all colleges?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The BTech Agricultural Engineering syllabus is not similar for all colleges and universities in India.
