Located at a lush green MGM campus, MGM College of Fine Art is popularly known as MGM COFA. It is a private college that was established in 2003. MGM COFA is a constituent college of MGM University, Aurangabad that offers undergraduate, postgraduate along with diploma programmes in Applied Art, Drawing and Painting, Ceramic and Pottery, Interior Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, etc. Each programme is designed as per the industrial and problem solutions. The diploma programmes offered by the college are affiliated to the Director of Art, Mumbai (Govt. of Maharashtra) and degree programmes are affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
There are core faculty members on the roll of the Institute; The Institute has already had the benefit of visiting faculty members from reputed arts college who have been conducting annual workshops at the institute. Several eminent artists/ teachers from within India have also been teaching with demonstrations/ slide lectures to the students on various foundation and specialisation level subjects
