B.Sc. In Biotechnology at Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh.
Placements: Very few students are placed, and the packages offered are very limited, with an average salary of around 2.4 LPA. Accenture recruited some students, and almost everyone got internships at Panjab University, Chandigarh. After graduation, one can pursue a career as a teacher, professor, or researcher.
Infrastructure: The college has a lot of labs, and Wi-Fi is available for all students. The classrooms are well-equipped and can accommodate all the students pursuing the course. The library has a lot of books for our course. The hostels are nice, and the food quality is good at the mess and canteen. The college has a medical room, and games are given importance with an annual sports day.
Faculty: The teachers are well educated, helpful, and always available. They are available from 9-5 from Monday to Saturday. The teaching quality is advanced and nice. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready and ready for real life. The semester exams are fine, not very easy but not very tough.

It is a good college for study and fun. The atmosphere is fine and the teachers are also good.
Placements: Students above 75-80% get admission in this course. Based on year-to-year criteria. There are not very respectful packages after doing B.Sc. Students will get an average salary between Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 per month. Students can do M.Sc after B.Sc. for good job opportunities. Main recruiting companies are Sun Pharma or pharma companies, etc. There is no percentage or criteria for placements. It depends on students' knowledge, and the main roles offered are laboratory assistant, laboratory technician, research assistant, research analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in this college. All types of laboratories are there for the course and equipment. The hostel is good. But it is closed from the covid period so there are difficulties for boys to accommodate there. They have to take PG outside in the city because the boys' hostel is closed due to covid. So that's a problem for boys to accommodate.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable. They have very good knowledge and also they spend time with students to teach them. The course is good. It makes students ready for industries, because practical makes them ready for job opportunities. Semester exams are average for this course. The students have to study for passing exams.
Other: There are many chances to show students' talent in many fields. The campus life is enjoyable and students can have fun. Many events and fests are also held in this college.

Review of Goswami Ganesh Dutta S.D. College.
Placements: Especially placements were good for our batch, but I chose to do Masters. I don't know exactly about details about the placements. However, they were great as considering that many companies visit the campus and recruit the best candidates first with the above-average salaries and other perks.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is also better because labs which are crucial for BSc were great and also classrooms were great. As I am a local student, I don't know about the mess food, although paid canteen was good. Overall, I don't face any infrastructure-related issue.
Faculty: Faculty members were one of the more major pillars of this course. They were good as they help every student to grasp the concepts whether the students were intelligent or not, so everyone was on a level field. The course curriculum was also good as it focuses on basics and concepts.

SD College is my second home.
Placements: The placement rate in the college is high. More than 70% of the students have been placed in good companies in good posts. The placements are usually more competitive for B.Com students. The teachers are helpful, and they also guide in resume making and tips for successful interview.
Infrastructure: The college is not very large in area, but it has a well-planned infrastructure. Starting from the main gate, there is a statue of Pt. Deen Dayal alongside the main building of UFV. Going further, there is the IT centre along with admin block. There are also signboards leading to science block and commerce block. The auditorium is quite huge and beautiful alongside. The canteen is small but serves delicious food. There is also a ground which houses all kinds of sports.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified and helpful, especially those of science department. The teaching methods are quite efficient and interesting. Also, we have compulsory industrial training for extra exposure. The course curriculum is also well planned, and the timetable is well managed.
Other: The fests are very well managed and enjoyable. Starting from the freshers for each department, there are fests all around the year conducted by each department separately. The crowd is huge, and numerable talents come up every year.

Very nice crowd. Best campus with a lot of fun and knowledge .
Placements: Yes placements occur in this college. But from some years placements are not done in B.Sc. Biotechnology hons. Many companies visit here for seminars and other programmes. I can say that not so good for placements. But it has the best faculty. You will learn a lot for future .
Infrastructure: Good classrooms. Nice laboratories and both boys and girls hostels are there. Girls hostels infrastructure is more better than boys hostel. Girls hostel is fully air conditioned and boys hostel is partially air conditioned. Food is not bad in hostels.
Faculty: Exams are held under Panjab University and this college has the best faculty separate department of biotechnology. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes this course makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are conducted by Panjab University and are not too hard to clear.

    There are placements for B.Sc Biotechnology at GGDSD College. The placements are not for biotech or microbiology or IT or any course of under BSC, It is for the complete batch of B.Sc.
