Faculty is good but placement and classes are below average.

Placements: Approximately 19 percent of students got placed from my course. The lowest package is 2.3 LPA, the highest is 7 LPA-8 LPA, but the average is around 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. Almost 60 percent of students get into internships (online and offline) at PayPal, Agoda, CSG, Electronic Arts, etc. Top roles are software engineer, backend developer, and graphic designer.

Overall, the college experience is good, just like in other colleges.

Placements: On average, 70-85% of students from our course get placed every year through campus recruitment drives. The highest package is around 8-12 LPA, the average package is typically 4-6 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2-4 LPA. They also provide internship opportunities.

Better for studying.

Placements: Almost 60% of students get placed every year, and it's mostly off-campus. The highest package is nearly 12 LPA. Many students opt for higher studies instead of placements to secure better positions and higher packages. In our branch, ECE, this is common. The average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Aditya Birla, among others. About 90% of students get internships, mostly in NITs and big colleges, especially in ECE.

Totally satisfied because of the total infrastructure of this college and teaching quality.

Placements: In this college, 75% of students are placed in different companies in Coochbehar Government Engineering College. L&T is the mass recruiter company. Students from mechanical engineering department get more placements in this company. The highest package in this college is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Graduate engineer trainee is the top role offered at Coochbehar Government Engineering College. 80-85% of students get the chance to do internships in several companies.

Overall, a very good college to be a part of. All the faculty members are really very helpful.

Placements: 85% of students in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering are placed with a good package. The highest is 7.7 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is about 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Technext. Apart from the ECE department, other departments also have very good placement records in companies like L&T, etc.

Coochbehar Government Engineering College WBJEE cutoff 2025 was released for a total of 3 rounds for admission to the BTech course specialisations.

Coochbehar Government Engineering College does accept the WBJEE entrance exam result for admission to the BTech courses. Students who want admission to this institute have to appear for the accepted entrance exam, followed by the counselling process to avail a seat for any of the BTech course branch
