Those who are willing for placements have to work more on their skills to get a job placement, But there are internships and projects provided by the university.

I am quite satisfied with the curriculum, faculty, and environment.
Placements: As per the percentage of students concerned with placements after a 3-year graduation. Most students go for a master's degree. The Economics department of Cotton University has around 10% placement. In our college, the highest package is 15 LPA. The average is around 5–6 LPA. Oil India, ICICI Bank, etc., are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is quite adequate. We have designed classrooms and Wi-Fi, but they are not capable of handling the load of all students. We also have a department library. There are facilities for seminars and other functions. I don't stay in the hostel, but from the information I have, the monthly fee is Rs. 1,000, and the admission fee is around Rs. 6,000–Rs. 7,000. The quality of food is decent.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are highly qualified and excellent in their roles. They explain the curriculum and complete the syllabus on time. They share clear ideas about the knowledge to be shared. The curriculum is relevant, but it should be more industry-focused. 90% is the pass percentage. We have qualified faculty.
Other: I chose the course because I like it personally. Moreover, it is the best university in Assam and a dream college for many students. There should be improvement in making the course more skill-based so that it makes students industry-ready. Moreover, most of the students at this college avail themselves of some scholarship. There are a lot of opportunities for students interested in quizzes, sports, debates, etc. There are frequent programmes for these activities.

Totally satisfied with the circles and faculty around. Good indeed.
Placements: Almost all students got internships. Some were pursuing Ph.D. s, and some were working in public and private institutions. The students who got jobs had packages ranging from 2 LPA to 9 LPA. I had recently passed out, and there were students who had cracked NET as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent, with student-friendly classrooms and a library. My department, i.e., Library and Information Science, had all the resources that a department needed. It included a library with computer labs running on both Microsoft and Linux software. The canteen food had improved a lot.
Faculty: Excellent faculty with excellent teaching methods and a supportive nature. The teaching faculty are quite cooperative and friendly. Their teaching makes students practically ready for the industry they are about to enter. The course curriculum can be termed moderate to pass.

Good college overall, although huge improvements can be made.
Placements: The placement at Cotton University is very bad. Rarely any companies come to campus. This year, only a few students from the Computer Science department got placed, which was rare. Otherwise, there's almost no campus placement happening. The college has a long way to go when it comes to campus placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided are decent. The classrooms are well-lit and big, but the boards used are still very old-fashioned. The newer built hostels are well-equipped with modern facilities, and the food is average. The library is my favorite part about the college. It has a very quiet environment and a good collection of books.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but not all of them are as helpful. The course I am doing doesn't make the students industry-ready. It is rather a research-based course. The semester exams are moderate in difficulty. A good amount of studying can make the exams really easy for you.

It is definitely a go through college.
Placements: The frequently visited companies for the course of Master of Science in Chemistry are chemical-based companies like Berger Paints, Asian Paints, Aditya Birla Group, Camlin Fine Sciences, etc. Companies hire 89 students by providing 104 offers for minimum and maximum packages.
Infrastructure: For doing master's courses, there will be special reserved seats for students who have done their Bachelor's degree within the same university. It's a highly prestigious university in Assam, and has initiated more than 80 courses in different program levels. Other than the reserved seats for master's, entrance exams are conducted.
Faculty: Professors are mostly beneficial for students doing master's. They suggest impactful ideas for building a successful career. They are great at evaluating projects developed and being developed by students. Frequent assessment and rapid quizzes are often conducted.

Great infrastructure and facilities, average faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: A limited number of students (30-40) secure on-campus placements. Many students opt for off-campus opportunities and internships. The salary packages are as follows, the highest package is around 7 LPA, the lowest package is around 3 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, RBI, and others visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with modern infrastructure to support both academic and research activities. The classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and projectors to facilitate effective teaching. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible across the department and campus, which greatly aids in research and online learning. The hostel infrastructure is decent and functional. Rooms are generally shared, with 2-3 students per room. Hygiene is maintained reasonably well, with regular cleaning of washrooms and common areas.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees and are well-versed in their subjects. The teaching quality is generally good, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. The course curriculum is regularly updated to align with industry trends, including project work, internships, and skill-based training, which helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study and an understanding of concepts. The evaluation is fair, and students who attend classes and stay engaged usually perform well. The overall pass percentage is around 85-90%, indicating a supportive academic environment.

Cotton University - A dream of many students.
Placements: The highest package depends upon the company. Many go for civil service while others continue for master. Some go for banking jobs. Few students got campus placements from ICICI Bank. Our alumni got into foreign universities and top universities of India, including IIT and IIM, for further education.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. Wi-Fi is not available, and the library is also very good with a full volume of books for a variety of subjects like economics. I don't reside in the hostel, but the quality is average, as per the students. The hostel culture is good and is very active during selection .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and stick to the course. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make students industry-ready. Students need to obtain 30 percent to pass exams. Semester exams are difficult for 9 plus CGPA, but average for 7-8 CGPA. Otherwise, it's good to handle.
Other: I always wanted to pursue economics as the subject is very much convenient for me. The course offers the best theories of economics relevant today and gives the mechanisms behind the economics of the world and how it operates. I wish it had fewer theoretical and more practicals.
