Faculty members are good but the infrastructure lacks.

Placements: The placement cell is working too hard. Recently, many students are getting placements in the private and public sectors. However, the number of placements is still less, it is impactful. The top roles from the geology department got in OIL, where only 1 student got it.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. As a university, it should have been better. But since our university is still under construction and the geology department will be shifted to the new building so the condition of classrooms will be better in 1-2 years. It has got the equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Their notes help a lot during exams. Even if the exams are quite difficult but their notes and the materials that are given in the classes help a lot. Course curriculum is relevant. Teachers help and teach how to apply for jobs and others.

Other: The course is associated with exploration and fieldwork, which made it interesting.

Very good environment in the campus. Competitiveness is there and faculties are very supportive.

Placements: 1 percent students got placed. The highest package was about 12 LPA, and the lowest was about 5 to 6 LPA. Oil Limited is the top recruiting body, but there are not many private companies. 2% of students got internships in companies. Geologists, assistant professors, etc. are the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: Good capacity for seating; projectors are used for teaching. Libraries are in the department itself, along with the central university library; internet connection is available through Wi-Fi; and labs are well defined with various instruments and different rock samples. Food is average in hostels—not too good, not too bad. There are various games to play, with an indoor stadium providing space for badminton, carrom and taekwando training.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and help us a lot in every way possible. The teaching quality is of top-notch. Yes, the course structure is relevant as it will provide a good source of knowledge and make the pupil industry ready in its specific field. The course difficulty is moderate. The pass percentage is about 95%.

Well experienced faculty. Good campus and hostel life.

Placements: The placement cell is good. Every year, multiple students are getting placed in various sectors like ONGC, OIL, SBI, etc. The curriculum is well-set to make a student academically sound and industry-ready. As the university is newly accredited, at present the placement rate is little slow, but it is rapidly increasing every year .

Infrastructure: All facilities are available for the courses. A separate building or independent space for every course, digital classrooms, well-maintained washrooms, labs, and conference halls—everything is present in every building or department. Multiple hostels present are also well maintained to provide the best environment to be academically, cultural and physically active.

Faculty: Good and well-experienced faculty are present. The teachers are very helpful in all aspects. A mentor-mentee system exists where students get a personal mentor (department teacher) who loves and helps them in every aspect. The exams are also well timed and fair. No means of partiality were done.

Absolutely nice campus with green background and nice placements.

Placements: 76% of students got placed. The highest package is around 12 lacs, the lowest package is 5 lacs per annum and the average package is 6-7 lacs. Oil India Limited is the company and many government and private companies are recruiting. On average, 50% students get placed Officer rank is also secured by students.

Infrastructure: Nice facilities with a sound environment; Wi-Fi is also on campus; and hostel mess food is also available. The library also has AC. The hostel is there for the nice accommodations students need. Classrooms, as well as smart classrooms, are present for the ease of students.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; semester exams are held on time without any prolonged delay; teachers help the students the best they can; students are grown in a well-established model; the difficulty increases with the semester exams, but students study nicely.

Placements: The Geology department currently has a strength of 50 students in each year. The department has lots of opportunities and placements. This course has a lot of field studies with provides direct jobs in Oil excavation and refining, Coal extraction, Geological Survey of India, Construction of major civil projects like dams Dams, Bridges etc. Many students from the department of Geology has received successful placements the top companies including the Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery, Assam as Junior Manager. Many students who were from this department has now a annual income of 18,00,000INR. The average package is around 15 lpa.

Infrastructure: The faculties and teaching staff are highly qualified, earlier the minimum qualification needed to join as a faculty of Cotton University was masters degree which is now the Doctorate Degree. Besides this the geology department conducts mentor mentee program every week for students to so that they gets help in both academic as well as other field. The classrooms are well equipped with smart boards and wifi so that the students don't face any internet issues. The department also has big laboratory with all the necessary equipments to assist the students in practical works.
