Our college is very good.

Placements: Many companies visited our college and offered jobs to students, in which many students got selected and joined immediately because they offered good salary packages. Top recruiting MNCs are Tata Group, Flipkart, and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities and infrastructure. All classrooms are very clean. The Wi-Fi speed is very fast. The hostel facilities are very good. Our canteen is very huge and provides very tasty food.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are well-qualified. It is quite difficult to pass semester exams in our college. The quality of our teachers is very good. Students take help from teachers, and teachers suggest an improvement.

Other: I opted for this course because this course is very good for our future. The best thing about our course is that it is very easy and has many scopes. Our college conducts many events, fests, etc. Many students participate and win many prizes.

If you have financial problem and know how to do self Study, this college is for you.

Placements: In my batch total 4-5% students got offer in on campus placement where only 10% were in that interview but None of them actually end up taking those offers. Average package is 2-3 LPA. They don't have the highest and the lowest package. Just for record the highest might be 4-5 LPA and the lowest might be 2 LPA. They never inform students about internships and placement. Your have to find out yourself if there are companies came for placement. I don't think so they had internships offers back then. For all the CS students Wipro came up for call center job. No matter how good your skills are, companies only came here with call center jobs.

Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure is above Average for CS students. There are Good computers but it depends on your subject. If you are an extrovert and serious about studies you can go any time in any IT labs and ask to teacher if that computer is free then start studying ( make sure no one get disturbed ). Lab teacher are good but HOD sir is great you can ask him about anything and he will sure help you.

Faculty: Only few of the IT staff is knowledgeable but all of them are helpful also few of them had good teaching quality. Course curriculum is very old. They won't teach you things like react, AI & ML, Android, full stack web development, node, angular etc. Exams are not difficult but scoring those exams are extremely difficult specially. It doesn't matter how good your answers are but if you have not filled pages you won't get full or good marks. Even in straight forward questions you must fill pages with content.

Other: I choose BCA because of financial problem and don't want a gap year. When I got there I found out every single one have choose BCA without knowing what BCA actually is. Turns out that was a great choice because of growth of IT industry.

The campus life of dav college Jalandhar.

Placements: There are a lot of opportunities students are getting for placements. Talk about the package it is quite normal I. e. 2 Lacs p. a. Moreover, students have to go for Masters to get better placements and they are getting placed in many companies. Otherwise, everything is good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is quite normal. The buildings are old but the renovation work is done on time. There is a lot many students who live in the college hostel and the hostel is on the opposite side of the college which gives students more privacy. The food quality is quite normal.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for their respective subjects. Many of them are very helpful. If anyone really wants serious studies then he can go to DAV college. Whereas talking about the semester exam it needs to be improved. Sometimes the students didn't get notifications about their examination on time.

I am satisfied with our college and I recommend you to go for it.

Placements: Around 50 to 60% of the students were placed in our batch. Many recruiting companies offered packages between 1 to 2 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are IT management and supervisor of IT department and some other roles were also offered to students who were eligible.

Infrastructure: There were many good facilities available in DAV College, Jalandhar. A library, science lab, and Wi-Fi facility were available. It will help you with assignments, etc. Classrooms were well built with good furniture. The canteen provided by the college was average, but the food served in it was clean and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and helpful to students for exam preparation. The teaching quality was good as compared to other institutes. BCA course was relevant for those students who have an interest in the IT section and want to work in the computer line in the future. the semester exams were difficult but not as difficult for intelligent guys.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in the computer and IT department and I have an interest in computers. The things I wish would be better or improve about our course are nothing. Everything in the college is good for a BCA course. There are many events, festivals celebrated on the campus which are good for students.

College is great for middle-income students as they don't get value for money college like this.

Placements: Placements are great here as compared with other colleges in Jalandhar, and deserving students get placed. If students have skills, then they can surely get placements. I suggest others try to work on your skills as much as you can.

Infrastructure: The hostel fee is more affordable as compared to others, and facilities like Wi-Fi and other things are pretty good. They follow a particular curriculum, and most of the things are best. Rooms are much spacious, and in terms of money, it is a great deal.

Faculty: Teachers are great, and they help you with full potential. They are very helpful not only in studies but also in future by further suggesting to you what should be the best for you. I suggest you work on this aspect.

Everything on the campus is good.

Placements: Our college is the best place for placements. At least 60-65% of students get placed by our college. There are excellent jobs offered in placements. Many of our seniors got good jobs. I would rate 5 stars out of 5 to this part.

Infrastructure: We have facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. The library is one of the best libraries in entire India. But one thing that I don't like is the number of computers in the lab. Most of the time students have to share their PCs with other students.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are awesome and they teach with a very favorable style. I like all the teacher's studying style and they are highly experienced when compared to teachers in other colleges. Even when we ask our teachers to repeat a topic or for an extra class, they simply repeat the topic, and sometimes, they take a class for weak students.

Other: I opted for this course because it was my dream to get knowledge about web designing, making apps, and websites.

It is a good college with good faculty members.

Placements: There is a placement cell in DAV College which is very helpful for both training and placements. The highest stipend offered for an internship is Rs. 81,000 per month. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Around 80% of the students get placed from the computer science department.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of DAV College is very good. We have Wi-Fi facility all over the campus, and there is a library which is open for 24 hours. The college has a computer centre for students who don't have laptops. All the classrooms are air-conditioned, and the labs are also superb. Quality of food served in both the canteen and hostel is good. Hostels are good, and double or triple sharing rooms are available.

Faculty: The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Professors in our college are highly qualified and experienced. Most of the professors use projectors to teach, and they come with their slides to teach students. We know about our course curriculum before the beginning of the semester, which is quite useful.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in computers applications from childhood. The best thing about this course is that it makes us feel the value of computers in our life. The college should make personality development a part of the course to make the course better.

Good infrastructure and good teachers.

Placements: Almost 30% students were placed this year. The highest salary was 35000 per month and the lowest salary was 12000 per month. Software assistant and web designer were the roles offered. Top recruiters were Paytm and IBM. No internships this year maybe it was provided to students in the previous year but I don't know about it now.

Infrastructure: 1. Computer labs are available there is a whole computer department with 7 labs which is quite good. 2. Computers are also good with minimum I3 processor. 3. Library is also quite huge with almost every book available. 4. The mess food quality is not that good. But it's good for survival.

Faculty: 1. The staff and teachers are quite qualified and cooperative and helping. 2. I had no fear in asking doubts and they solved my queries well. 3. Yes, the study and syllabus of the course is quite relevant. The syllabus is also vast and contains the basics as well. 4. I cannot say that it makes you fully ready for jumping into work but it surely gives you enough knowledge and practice to get going.

Other: 1. Well, I choose this course because from the very beginning I had a lot of interest in computers and technology. 2. the best things about this course is that I get to know the root of how these apps are made how things are made etc. 3. there is a fest held every year in the month of February in which we get to do a lot of tech related activities.
