I am happy and satisfied that I have chosen D.A.V. College.

Placements: About 34 students got placed in BARC, ISRO, etc. The top roles offered are scientist, biochemist, medical engineer, microbiologist, an immunologist in the sector of microbiology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, bioinformatics, botany, zoology, basic computers, English, Punj.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. The infrastructure of labs is well maintained. Classrooms are good and airy. I am a non-hostler, so I don't know much about hostels, but friends say that it is good. It is also good for girls safety. Medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Teaching quality is excellent Teachers are helpful and always give their handwritten notes. All are PhD holders, and their way of teaching is also very good. As I am in the first semester so, I don't know much about course curriculum is relevant or not or it makes student industry ready or not.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to be a microbiologist. They should remove unnecessary subjects like organic or inorganic chemistry.

It has a good library with lots of books.

Placements: Many students have cleared the competitive exams. Many have won a scholarship from prestigious colleges for their further studies, and all this is because of the college faculty and the right guidance of the teachers. After B.Sc. is not something someone will be interested in, but still, there are companies offering internships.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of both college as well as of department is very good. The college campus and hostels have Wi-Fi facility. The labs are fully furnished with the necessary equipment. Each department has a separate library where they have books related to the subject itself, which give students good access.

Faculty: The teachers are ready to help the students when they are in need, and they guide students in the right direction and also tell us to walk on the right path. This is what I like the most. The teachers have done their PhD from a reputed college and also have good experience in teaching.

Other: I have chosen this course because it lets us do some further research on things that will be beneficial for the world's future. Our department is the best I have ever visited somewhere. And they also provide various scholarship on the basis of merits, single girl child, etc.
