Q:   Is CUET exam registration open?

A: 

No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 registrations have not commenced yet. The registration window will be active at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2027 notification in first week of January. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2027 process will commence online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2027 exam must complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling application form, candidates must make sure that they have fulfilled the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.

Q:   When will CUET result be declared?

A: 

CUET results usually declares in June. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be released at CUET exam results. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET results  when they are released.

Decent college in every aspect.
Placements: It is a Political Science course, placements are rare. Students usually prepare for government exams. There is a placement cell in the college through which you can get internships and jobs. You can also work with NGOs. It depends on the individual.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. There is a library. Construction is going on. A new building is being constructed. A few classrooms are small, and a few are spacious. There are labs for Science students. The hostel facility is really good. There is Wi-Fi, a medical facility, and mess food is decent, with meals 4 times.
Faculty: Faculty is good. Curriculum is based on the Delhi University syllabus. There are two semester exams for every paper. We have 7 papers. Semester exams are based on PYQs, not very difficult. The professors are highly qualified and helpful, it depends from department to department.
Other: I chose my course because I enjoy studying Political Science. I wish the syllabus was lessened. The fests are really good, college societies are active and there are a lot of extracurricular activities, events, and competitions.

The infrastructure of my college is good.
Placements: My course doesn't provide any placement opportunities itself, but they provide various opportunities in various fields, and it's up to us how we can achieve and grab those opportunities and give higher examinations like GATE, IIT JAM, etc. I would say best of luck to my juniors.
Infrastructure: Everything is good in my faculty and college mess also, but I am not a hostel student, so I can't speak about that. What I hear from my hostel friends is that the hostel facility is 10 on 10, and also safety, food, and laundry are also 10 on 10, and they enjoyed it a lot there.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. The exam difficulty level is easy to medium, except for one paper of my course that is mechanics in the first semester and electricity and magnetism in the second semester. This paper is hard in every year's examination, so I would suggest solving PYQs more and more.
Other: I chose my course to connect real-life happenings with the world of Physics.

Review of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Not many students get the opportunity for placement, but those who get it sometimes get very good placements. I have to say these students who tend to get placements are very few. Not many students get selected, only roughly 10-20 out of 1000. Internship opportunities are good. You can easily find internships if you feel like doing it.
Infrastructure: If I rate the infrastructure of the department or college, I would give a low of 1 star, but for the hostel it would be 4.5 because I have lived in the hostel for one year, it truly is very good. The food is perfect, the rooms are very good, and other facilities are good. The only problem is a very limited number of seats in the hostel, only 200, and that too for 1st year students. They may give seniors the same seats, but that's a maximum of 9-15. Talking about college infrastructure, don't expect anything good it's moderate to even pathetic.
Faculty: Talking about faculty, they come and teach, but you won't understand in other words, you're on your own kid. They might have lots of degrees, but they won't know how to give away their knowledge to students. Your course might not be completed in the entire semester. YouTube is the only way you can understand. Internships help you get industry-ready, not just fill in answer sheets. Exams are average level, but just because you are in prog. Doesn't mean your paper will be easier than hons it will be more difficult, especially year-end papers.
Other: I took this course because I just wanted to live in Delhi, have a glimpse of college life, and have a degree. I would like the teachers to be better, right teachers for the right subjects, and teachers with modern thinking. To say college is not just for studies, besides studies, this college helps you grow in so many ways, build your confidence, and above all makes you fall in love with the beautiful people you meet. The campus is good, just not the classrooms. You might not love it at first, but later on you will miss it.

Satisfied with this college because of faculty and a good, supportive environment.
Placements: Placement cell of our college is quite active. Most of the students from our course go for further studies. However, the highest package offered was 9 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average package was 7 LPA. The top roles offered to students of our college are in teaching.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. It has a vibrant atmosphere with a nice and serene environment. Classes are properly ventilated. Labs are well air-conditioned. The hostel is very good, but the fee is high. The hostel food is praiseworthy. The canteen is pocket-friendly, and the food is also nice, with a variety of options available. The sports faculty is very nice. Several sports, along with gym facilities, are offered.
Faculty: Teachers are genuinely very good and well-qualified. They are very helpful and teach every topic clearly. They also make sure to complete the syllabus on time and provide tips to excel in exams. We also have mid-semester exams. These are helpful. They allow students to prepare half of the syllabus before final exams. It reduces the burden before exams.
Other: Our annual fest, Manjari, is something one should never miss. The best thing about this college is that it is a girls' college where you see girls supporting girls. There is no jealousy, and students do not feel alone or bored. If you get into this college, do not miss the chance to come here and enjoy your college life.

Good college for life sciences with balanced academics and supportive faculty.
Placements: The placements are decent but not the main focus of the course. Most students pursue M.Sc. or prepare for other competitive exams. The placement cell regularly shares internships and job opportunities from various companies across different industries. Students benefit from these skill-based programs.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped facilities, especially in the Zoology department. It has the largest number of specimens in the entire North Campus. Also, Daulat Ram College has a well-established Drosophila culture lab as well as a zebrafish research lab. The Chemistry department as well as the Botany department are also well-equipped with all the necessary equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and knowledgeable. They are also very helpful and approachable in case you need any help. The course provides a balance between Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. This opens a lot of career opportunities. Faculty members of all three subjects are really helpful. Teachers teach very well, do not leave any topics, and make students exam-ready.
Other: Several good societies in the college help you build exposure as well as connect with others.

DRC provides a very secure environment to study.
Placements: DRC is okay with placements, as we do have an active placements cell which is indeed run by students. Our placements head has done well, and rather, their entire team has ensured that placements at DRC reach the next level which can match other top girls' colleges of DU like Miranda House or JMC. A long way still to go though.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, with enough fans, and many classrooms also have air conditioning. The college library has a wide collection of books, a comfortable reading area, Wi-Fi, and an AC facility. The canteen provides affordable and hygienic food with a seating facility. The campus has a large auditorium (Sadbhavana Bhavan) for fests and events, and an air-conditioned conference hall for seminars and other programs.
Faculty: Mine is dual specialisation, and they have history and Political Science. Luckily, our course hardly has any unwanted subjects, and both departments have their own heads and faculty members. However, dealing with faculty members is really cool here as most of our faculty members are quite friendly with students.
Other: Since it's an all-girls college, the crowd and campus both are amazing. A mix of events is held during our annual fest, Manjari which happens in February every year.

Q:   Who is eligible for Daulat Ram College admission?

Admission to all the Daulat Ram College courses is entrance-based. While Daulat Ram College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission. Q:   How can I get admission to Daulat Ram College?
A: 

Daulat Ram College considers CUET-UG scores for admission to its undergraduate courses. Daulat Ram College admission for UG courses (as per DU) is through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Daulat Ram College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University releases DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Daulat Ram College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Daulat Ram College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

Q:   Can I get into Daulat Ram College without CUET?
A: 

No, Daulat Ram College admission to all the courses, i.e., undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, is entrance-based. While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as , admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG. 

Q:   Is there a way to apply to Daulat Ram College offline?
A: 

No, there is no offline method of application at Daulat Ram College. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET UG and CUET PG exam. After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to Daulat Ram College and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG and CUET PG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.
