    B.Sc. Life Sciences at DRC.
Placements: 55% of students were placed. The highest package is around 19 LPA, the average package stood at 14 LPA, and the lowest package stood at 3-5 LPA. Companies such as Biocon, Serum Institute, and Abbott were the recruiters. The roles offered are of a research scientist and a clinical research associate, which are the most common ones.
Infrastructure: There are around 50 classrooms in total, of which 20-25 have smart boards and projectors. The library is air-conditioned, comprising 2 floors. Also, there are 18 science labs, including neuropharmacology and cancer research labs. Sadbhavna Bhavan auditorium has a capacity of 2500 and is used for cultural events. Besides this, the college also has the Rangshala amphitheater and seminar halls. The sports complex has an indoor badminton court, chess and table tennis facilities, a gym is also present, and an outdoor ground for other sports is also available.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is nice, most of the teachers are well qualified and hold a Ph.D. degree. Some teachers in the botany department do not provide study material, but the other departments are quite nice. The course syllabus comprises Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, as well as Bioinformatics. It makes students industry ready as it gives good practical exposure as well. Semester exams, on the other hand, are moderately tough.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study Biology in detail. Moreover, I was preparing for NEET and was not getting a good college, so DU seemed a good option. This course provides practical exposure through hands-on training. However, I wish there were more opportunities for internships organised by the department, as it would be quite helpful. The campus life is amazing. The college is in the North Campus, hence it has great connectivity with the metro. Nearby is the Kamla Nagar market, which has everything from shopping to amazing cafes.

It has good placements, faculty, and infrastructure.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Life Science (2024-2027). In our course, around 15-20% of students got placements, and the majority of students go for research, etc. The highest package offered ranges from 3-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite small and cozy looking There is a lawn, a canteen, a Nescafe area, water coolers, labs, sports complex. However, compared to other colleges, it is quite small but cute and cozy. Labs are air-conditioned and have all types of equipment and instruments needed to perform in practicals. Overall, it has a nice and comfortable infrastructure to work with.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach nicely and provide all the study materials. They are helpful in every manner. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready to crack the ahead examinations. Semester examinations are of moderate level, not more difficult and neither more easy. The pass percentage in DRC is 50-63% in their first semester, and the rest is 50%. The course offers a solid foundation in subjects like genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology, along with practical lab experience.
Other: This course is versatile and has many scopes, so I chose it. I wanted to add pharmacy as a subject too to my course. There are events, fests, connectivity, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and societies.

    The botany department is bad.
Placements: Placement is decent at this college. Under my course, it is rare to find placements, but overall it's a good program and college. There are few companies for this course; as I mentioned, this is a hands-on course, and people take exams after completion.
Infrastructure: I feel that my course is very versatile; after this course, you can opt for any field you want. It’s a good choice for people who haven't yet decided on their career path. The classes are good. However, the Botany department is the worst; most teachers are rude and do not understand students' situations. The labs are good, but the mess is bad. I do not live in the hostel, so I can’t comment on that.
Faculty: Botany department teachers are bad, but others are good. The course is well-designed and nice. The exams are easy, but there is a vast syllabus, so it might be hard to learn everything. The semester exams are like fine, you can study for 2 days and u can still pass. I don't know about the pass percentage because I'm always passed.
Other: I chose this course because I was not sure about what to do. This course allows you to learn about everything in Biology and Chemistry. Things that can be improved are that there should not be writing work in practice. Fests are good.

It is absolutely satisfying because of the faculty and good placements.
Placements: The college is very nice and many companies come here to hire students. 80% of students get internships and sometimes, 30% of insurance is given in the last year. Many students get internships and placements in the third year, and first-year students can also apply for them.
Infrastructure: A new building is under construction. The old buildings are very nice. Some classrooms are AC and classes don't have AC. In some classes, it is very hard to be there, but that's fine because the environment of the college is very nice all the way. There is a greenery which makes a little hold.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified from foreign countries. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit high because there are no mid-semester exams, so it is hard for us to study all that in one night.
Other: I chose it because it provides a variety of courses in the future. Things that should be improved about my course are internals and the marking scheme. Events organised are very nice here.

It's okay with good faculty and crowd but not so good in placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not very good, around 10% of students are placed. The highest package was around 21 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, and Wipro Technologies. Around 150 students get internships in companies like Insplore, Unschool, etc. The top roles offered in my course are data analyst, data worker, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college isn't really big but it's sufficient for us, our course didn't have many classrooms which created a problem for us as we had to find a classroom before class sometimes. DRC has 3 canteens - Nescafe, Amul, and the college canteen so you have a variety of food. Most of the classrooms have AC and drinking water is available throughout the college, though water quality is questionable.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, they help you in class and also give advice when needed. We have internals, presentations, and assignments but nothing is too hard. Even exam level is something you can clear with some study. Our course is more theory-based, it improves our problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and quick thinking.
Other: I chose this course as I need math in my career and it's imp for me to be a good ATIT. The best thing about this course is that you learn so many new things, new theorems, and how all the formulas you use are derived. Our college has various departmental and societal fests. Even our annual fest Manjiri is one of the greatest fest on the north campus. We even had sports events for all the courses and various scholarships were given to people who needed them, our teachers provided us with information about scholarships.

One of the most expensive of all DU colleges, but can't really complain much.
Placements: You can't expect an IIT level placement at any DU colleges. But being a North campus college, it does provide pretty good placement opportunities. They have fine recruiters and add new ones each year. If you have skills and a good resume, you'll get placed.
Infrastructure: Not very good, I'll say. But since it's a government college, one should not have a lot of expectations. But yet there are things that are necessary to be maintained like the paint, Wi-Fi, and class location. I feel there aren't enough specified rooms for each course. Also, the auditorium needs a makeover ASAP.
Faculty: The curriculum is nice, as it is followed throughout DU. The faculty is much better, they are all very well-educated and don't compromise with your studies unless necessary. Even if class gets canceled, they try to take extra ones. Exams are easy if you study and are timely conducted.
