DRC is probably the second-best girls' college of DU.
Placements: Placement percentage is indeed a little poor at DRC as even Commerce and Economics students find placements hard. The Big 4 that is KPMG, EY, Deloitte, and PwC have been the best recruiters but they also note just a few students. Internship students have to find on their own as college doesn't provide that.
Infrastructure: The newly built building is perfect from AC classrooms to smart boards, we have them all. Our canteen too is amazing as it's an all-girls college and our canteen serves a variety of pastries. The only issue is with the auditorium as it needs serious development.
Faculty: Faculty members undoubtedly are all experts in the subjects. Also, many would complain that professors don't teach properly or anything. The course of DU for B.Com (Hons) is absolute. Exams are much easier as the passing percentage of our course is around 90 percent..
Other: The best thing is that our course opens various career doors and that was the belief that made me take this course.

Average infrastructure, and faculty, and not great ROI.
Placements: I’m from B. Com (Hons) at Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi (2025–26 batch). Around 55–65 percent of students are placed. Avg package 4.5–5 LPA, the highest 8–9 LPA. Recruiters include Deloitte, EY, PwC. Internships 60–70 percent in banks, startups, and corporates.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, Wi-Fi works but can be slow, and the library is very good with lots of study space. Hostel facilities are okay, mess food is average, and the canteen is better. Basic medical help and sports facilities are available. Hostel rooms are okay and manageable, mess food is average (some days better than others), and the canteen is more popular than the mess.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and know their subjects well. Teaching quality is good overall, though it can vary from teacher to teacher. Curriculum Relevance: The curriculum is relevant and builds strong basics in commerce, but students usually need internships, certification, or skills to be fully industry-ready. Semester Exams: Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult if you attend classes and study regularly. The pass percentage is quite high (around 90 percent+).

A college that allows you to grow.
Placements: So far, I haven't heard of placements, especially in my department. Other departments may offer placements, but the package per annum isn’t quite good. However, it allows you to partake in events that may push you towards better opportunities. Internship opportunities are shared in group chats, often by students or suggested by faculty members.
Infrastructure: The college has proper labs, whiteboards for digital education and demonstration, a smooth-running department, and an accessible library. Canteen food is good, hygienic, and affordable. Other than that, there are Amul and Nescafé on campus. Medical room availability, clean washrooms, ample space for extracurricular activities, a big field at the back for sports-related activities, and a gym on campus too. Beautiful hostel from what I have heard from friends who live there.
Faculty: Experienced and highly qualified professors who urge you to look beyond and engage in numerous activities, related or not related to the discipline. They are very friendly and quite lenient with assignment submissions. Fun quizzes and tests to check progress. One of the best psychology faculties in all of DU.

Daulat Ram College honest review.
Placements: Placements were not conducted in our course. You can do self-practice or start your own clinic to earn money. You can also join some seniors. Most of them take this course for UPSC preparation. You can become psychologists after completing this course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were average. Wi-Fi was available on the campus. A library was also present. Classrooms were of different types. Canteen food was good in taste. An ambulance was present in the college for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Here, teaching was not only theoretical but also more practical. The course curriculum was relevant, but it didn't have much opportunity to earn money easily. Students had to take a session with a patient that make them experience. The semester exam varies or depends on the student.

Review of Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Our college has a low placement rate, but it does not mean it has no placements. From what I have heard, the college offers promising placements, but they are rare. Since I'm in my first year, I don't know much about placements, but I know that placements start from the 2nd or 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The college has free Wi-Fi, and the college library also has free Wi-Fi. Our college has 3 canteens, and all classrooms are overall in nice condition. The only problem is the unavailability of AC in some classes, which makes it hard in the summer because of the summer heat.
Faculty: Teachers are super helpful. Faculty members are excellent in this college. Teachers are friendly and available. They are there to guide us whenever we need them. I think Daulat Ram has one of the best faculty members in the whole DU, and teachers are very friendly.
Other: This course aligns with my interests, so I chose this course. I am preparing for UPSC, so this course will help me in the future. Our college continuously organises events that are fun and good. There are department events, society events, and whole college events. The college also provides protection during events.

Journey of college life in Daulat Ram College.
Placements: The college provides good placement to B. Com Hons and Economics Hons students, about 7 to 53 LPA depending on the resume and interview. Deloitte is the one who hires the most. I don't know much about the roles, but I heard they offer good roles only. From my course, barely 2–3 people got internships, as it's not common in my course.
Infrastructure: The Department of Botany is quite well-equipped and has smart classrooms with all the facilities like Wi-Fi and libraries. The hostel is good, and the food is quite well-known across DU. The canteen is also good, quite affordable, has a good medical room, a huge sports complex, a well-equipped gym, and all kinds of indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, well-qualified, and provides notes. The education here is good. The teachers are friendly. Though the curriculum is huge, the teachers manage to complete the whole syllabus in time. The toughness of semester exams depends on the paper; almost everyone passes except for 1–2 students.
Other: I wanted to go for research and development, that's why I chose this subject. I hope the college fees get a little reduced, as compared to other colleges, the fees of DRC is quite high. The fest is really good and is one of the biggest fests among all the girls’ colleges. Privileged and meritorious students get scholarships and have good extracurricular activities on Saturdays.
