Placements: Each year, we admit 60 students to our college. Over the years, numerous students have successfully passed their PG exams with excellent scores and chosen various branches. Our courses primarily focus on general medicine in both allopathy and ayurveda, offering top roles in these fields. Additionally, our program includes two internships, each lasting for six months.
Infrastructure: The college has its own panchkarma lab and pharmacy, where students can enhance their skills in medicine preparation. Additionally, there is a yoga hall and seminar hall available. The hostel facilities have been reconstructed, and the mess offers good-quality food with a variety of options. The college also has a canteen, classrooms, and a ground for various activities.
Faculty: The teachers provide great assistance, ensuring that all classes are conducted effectively and exams are taken with the utmost seriousness. The course proves to be beneficial as it covers both ayurveda and allopathic medicine, which aligns with the growing trend towards organic and herbal practices in society. The semester exams are designed to be of a moderate difficulty level.
Other: One of the notable aspects of this college is its strong emphasis on exams and academic studies, which sets it apart from many other ayurvedic institutions. Additionally, it boasts a rich history, having been established in 1877. Good infrastructure and teachers. Knowledge is given and doctors are made here.
Placements: As it is a medical college so you won't be placed as such, but they make you capable to earn good income by either joining private hospitals or woking in your own clinic, and if you wish to do MD they provide you perfect environment for that too. I feel so obliged to be in this college.
Infrastructure: Courses that are being taught in DAC Jalandhar are BAMS, MD dravyaguna,MD panchkarma. Hostel infrastructure is not good actually as it's an old building with common washrooms. But college is good with all the departments from 1st year to final year subjects such as department of anatomy, physiology, pathology,dravyaguna, charak, rasshastra, gynaecology, pediatrics, toxicology,medicine, surgery, ent, swasthvritta etc.
Regarding opd I can assure you that opd and ipd patients do come and are treated well.
Our college collaborated with HIIMS as well.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified and all teachers teaching here are doctors themselves and are MD or MS.
Yearly internal exams are conducted twice for revision of students and marks are being sent to parents via sms so they are also aware of what their children are doing in college academics.
Annual exams or final exams are held after 1.5 years and thrice. Then one year of internship is provided.
It is very easy to pass annual exam of you are regular with your studies.
Passing %age is 50% scores in each subject.
