How to Prepare for NEET 2026 in 10 days?

Apart from study, the last 10 days should be dedicated for practical and logistic preparation as well. Let us take a look at the tips and preparation strategies for 10 days to NEET 2026.

Prep Tip# 1: Take stock of what is remaining

The first step will be a quick assessment of your NEET 2026 preparation. Take stock of the topics that need to be covered and the topics that have not been revised for a while. Also, make a list of all the important chapters, according to their weightage. This will be your study material for the next 10 days.

Prep Tip# 2: Get accustomed to the new pattern

This year, the exam pattern has remained the same as last year. NTA will follow the NEET exam pattern as followed in the previous exam session. You have to decide on the exam-taking strategy to approach the paper with ease and confidence. Hence, you are advised to go through the new exam pattern and solve practice tests in this format, which has been released by the top NEET coaching institutes.

Prep Tip# 3: Take fewer mock tests

Taking too many NEET mock tests just before the examination can be overwhelming. Also, a low score on these tests can be demotivating for some. A low score does not always mean that your preparation is weak. Some NEET mock tests are extremely difficult and are meant to give candidates exposure to such questions. However, only 10-12 questions in the NEET question paper will be of this difficulty level.

Q:   I am doing BSc and I want to crack NEET. How do I prepare for NEET?
A:

How do I prepare for the NEET during a BSc Preparation of NEET UG with your on going BSc Degree. There are two things involved and I'm going to give the answer in two fragments. SEE if you are going to do your BSc From a government college where you have to study and pass your sem/annual exam with practicals then it will be lil tough for you, then remember one thing don't make a mistake of studying in last month to take exam of your college bc it will only waste your time of one month which might be very crucial from perspective of NEET and it will be a hazard if sem/annual exam falls near your NEET exam. So study for college solely by attending lecture of your teachers in college and make their notes and you can bunk your college to prepare for NEET don't waste your time in making frnds in college and make a habit of studying for college BSc In only study hours of your college and rest of the time for NEET and make sure you dedicate your focused I repeat focused 5-6 hour of time for NEET and increase it gradually. And for college exams don't take stress you have your notes just revise them before one week and you are good to go If you are doing your B.Sc. From private college then boom don't take any tension just talk to administration and you won't have to attend the college ( if they ask pay them if it's a small college they will accept the offer for 5-6k ) you don't have to attend the lecture and practicals too just go and take the exam and may be they will arrange something for you in exams too like cheating and all you will pass it without any tension. Although you can buy notes of subjects from market notes are available in market and study them before 2 weeks of your exam and you can study for your NEET exam. It would be tough to manage both of them but over-all it is rewarding so do it and ha! Don't take any pressure everything comes from practice and studying is a practice dude! Make a habit of doing meditation you will SEE the benefits within 30 days start with 5 minutes and gradually increase upto 15 minutes for first 30 days it will surely help in your studies. Don't fall for the trap that I can revise something in that 15 minutes or can chill by listening songs or watching videos nope don't do that mediation can ease your journey of preparation.

Q:   How can I score 680+ in NEET in six months?
A:

You can follow a single good book. Try to give maximum time to NEET study. Practise few mocks and previous year papers. It is possible to score this high with six months preparation. Avoid distractions and just follow one single good book.

Q:   How important is taking mock test to prepare for NEET?
A:

Mock tests are an important aspect of NEET preparation. Preparation will be incomplete without taking NEET mock tests. NEET 2026 mock test will give students exposure towards the exam structure. It will also help them understand their preparation level and mistakes to avoid. Students must get the performance analysed thoroughly by an expert or mentor. The analysis will provide insights about the areas of improvement, causes of mistakes, correct approach to attempt questions, time management, etc. The objective of the analysis is to provide an in-depth viewpoint on their performance.

Prep Tip# 4: Zero down your exam-taking strategy

As mentioned in the previous tip, you must have a strong and dependable exam-taking strategy. The difference between your preparation and performance lies in the approach or the strategy. You may be well prepared and have the answers to most of the questions unless you have a pre-decided strategy on which section to attempt first, selecting the right questions and time management, you will not be able to score high. Based on your previous mock tests and practice sessions, you must have realised which factors work for you and which don't. Based on these, finalise your NEET strategy.

Prep Tip# 5: Prepare a timetable

A new table for the last 10 days of NEET preparation would prove beneficial. You have already made a list of the topics that you need to cover in these few days. Allocate time for every subject according to the number of topics that you have listed from each one of them. Also, spare an additional hour for the analysis of the mock tests (total four hours).

Prep Tip# 6: Focus on charts/diagrams/revision notes

Everything that can be represented in the form of diagrams and flowcharts should become a part of your revision notes. Revision becomes easier and less time-consuming with the help of diagrams/flowcharts. Representing information pictographically also aids in better retention.

For Example:

  1. Many questions from the periodic table can be answered correctly if you revise the chart regularly.
  2. A diagram representing the human digestive system along with the details of the enzymes released by each organ will also retain these details better.

Prep Tip# 7: Do not refer to any new book or resources now

They say the, more the merrier. But at this stage, when hardly 10 days are left for the exam, it is not suggested that you refer to new books or resources at this stage. By now, you must have referred to all top books and possible NEET study materials you could lay your hands on and have gained the subject knowledge required. If you expose yourself to completely new resources, you will end up cramming information, which is not recommended for this stage. You should concentrate on your revision notes and try to improve on the weak areas without stressing yourself much.

Prep Tip # 8: Bridge all possible gaps

It is time to identify the small doubts, queries or weaknesses that are yet to be resolved. This will help you to boost your confidence just before the exam. Make a list of all queries and topics of weak areas which you are facing and approach your mentors or seniors to get the answers. However, it is advised that if you have left any weak topic for preparing at the last moment, do not start preparing those now. Starting any topic from scratch is not a good idea at this stage. Rather focus on your strengths and minimise the weak points in these 10 days.

Prep Tip# 9: Stay motivated

Stay away from any negativity during these last few days. It is important that you stay focused and motivated and do not let your mind wander off. Make sure that you revise everything with full concentration. A halfhearted revision will not yield the desired results. Do not hesitate to take a 10-15 minute long break during this period, it will help you focus better.

Prep Tip # 10: Take good care of your health

Lastly, students do understand health should be priority at this stage. One can't afford to fall ill when exam in at corner. Along with study, do take small break to unwind yourself. Don't take too much pressure thinking about outcome in NEET 2026 exam. daily one or two hours must be spent to do what you like such as listening music or playing your favourite game etc.
