My journey with lots of memories and experiences, including good and bad.

Placements: Approximately 50% of students get placement in my course. The highest package in my course is 3,00,000 p.a., the lowest package is 1,20,000 p.a., and the average package is around 2,10,000 p.a. As I am a B.Ed student, I got placement from a school. A four-month internship is mandatory for all B.Ed students. You have to complete it sincerely, and sometimes schools offer you the chance to join them as a teacher. It’s up to you whether you join or not. The roles offered in my course are teaching.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Digital classrooms with Wi-Fi service are available. A separate library for B.Ed students is there. You can issue books for 15 days. The library is full of books with updated versions. The environment of the library is peaceful. Hostel facilities are also available. It is situated near the college. You have to pay 5,000 per month, including food and electricity. The food quality is not very good. They provide variety but not quality. Sports, NCC, and NSS are also available. Canteen services are good.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects and have great expertise and experience. Their teaching methods are very good. They teach difficult topics in a very interesting and easy way. The course curriculum is relevant and also follows the norms of NEP 2020. Semester exams are not too difficult; they are moderate. If you attend classes daily, you will definitely attempt all questions. Maximum 2 to 3 students fail, and 97% to 98% of students pass with good marks.

Other: The main reason for choosing this college was that it is one of the best colleges for B.Ed courses, and it is near my hometown. There should be digital classrooms as well because our country is moving towards digitalization, so this should be improved. Cultural fests are organized every year. Other activities like festivals, jayantis, etc., are also celebrated. Competitions are held. Scholarships are also available. I filled out the UP scholarship, so my whole fee was refunded by the government.

Better place to pursue B.Ed in Kanpur.

Placements: There is no proper arrangements for placements as this course is just a degree. You have to find placements by for own. Teachers may help you by the their connection in education industry. Else you can apply in nearby schools with the degree which you will get after completion of your B.Ed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is better than other government college in the city. Small green ground, parking, library is there. No Wi-Fi is there classrooms are in average condition. I am a day scholar so I have no deep details about hostel but according to my knowledge there is no hostel facility. Canteen is good here.

Faculty: Faculty members are good here. They are supportive and they always here to help you whenever you need them. But few teachers are here who are not supportive but it is very common in government college. Curriculum is relevant and it makes you industry ready they also conduct training sessions and organise camp for training sessions for students.

Other: I want to be a government teacher and for being a government teacher B.Ed. Is necessary. Youth fest, NCC, games and sports facilities are there, debate and quiz are here for students.

An above average place to get in.

Placements: No placement is there. You have to find by yourself. College only provides you degree. You can't expect much from this college it is not the condition of just this college you will see this scenario in most of the B.Ed. Colleges in Kanpur they just provide you degree.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, there is no facility of Wi-Fi in the college. Labs are there, but library facility is good in the college. I was a day scholar but few of my friends were from outside but there was no facility of hostel. Sports and games facilities were there.

Faculty: Teachers were supportive and well qualified. In our department teachers have contact with few schools so if you connected with them they may help you get the job by using their sources. If you talk about course curriculum training were given to us but it was not up to that level where we can say that we are industry ready.

Other: They should more focus on practical training. Many events happened during our time like youth fest, sport competition where you get chance to go on inter college or state level championship.
