The reality of faculty and infrastructure at my college.
Placements: Yes, I am doing BCA data science from Devbhumi Uttarakhand University, and in my batch, there are 23 students who are pursuing data science. The college claims that 80% of students were placed from the IT department, but this is not true. Only 30-40% of students work in the IT sector. My senior, who is from BCA, told me that only 6 students from his class but placed had a total strength of his class approximately 42. The highest package of my college is 40 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum. The average is 3 Lacs per annum, but I am talking about only the IT department, and the boy who gets the 40 Lacs per annum package is from the B.Teach department, and BCA students only get a 3 Lacs package. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, IBM, Amazon, and many other service-based companies. No, this college did not give the internship to the students of any field, and the top rules which are offered from my seniors’ batch are for data analyst, software engineer, web developer, cloud engineer, and many more.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are not so good. They give us Wi-Fi connections in classrooms and the library, but in my classroom, the projector does not work properly, and the Wi-Fi at my campus is not good. I am not a hostel student, but my friends are currently living in a hostel, so they told me that the mess food and canteen facilities are not good there, but the medical facilities are good, and sports and games are held every month in college. Here is a ground for playing games at evening for the hostel students.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers, I mean faculty, are very helpful and very supportive. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some faculty come from IIT, IIM. The Hindi teaching quality of two faculty members is very good. Yes, this course, which I am pursuing, is BCA Data Science, so this course curriculum makes the students industry-ready because we are only focusing on practical knowledge, but some faculty only taught us theory subjects. The semester exams are not a difficult level. The level of those semester exams is busy to medium, and every student can pass in those exams, but those students who did not prepare the whole semester failed in those exams. The percentage of passing students is approximately 80%.
Other: Yeah, currently I am pursuing B.C. Data Science, and this is a good course to choose. My first choice is B.Teach, but the fees of B.Teach are very high, approximately 12 Lacs. So my last option is to choose BCA to get into the IT sector. The best thing about my course is that the faculty are very good and well qualified, so they give us practical knowledge and make us industrial ready. Something which I wish will be better or improved in my scores is that some faculty, those teachers who are only focusing on theoretical knowledge, should change their mindset and focus more on practical knowledge and change their mindset to practical knowledge. This is very beneficial for students’ future. Yes, in my campus, many events, first and extra-curricular activities such as hackathons, some competitions such as dance competitions, singing competitions, and modelling. Every year. The first event, whose name is Pinak, is held in our college. Hindi celebrities such as singers and actors come to celebrate that fest, whose name is Pinak. The students who are from Uttarakhand and having Uttarakhand domicile get 25% fee education. The students are from SC, ST, caste, and OBC, and they have an OBC certificate, so they also get a scholarship. I didn't remember the percentage of scholarship, but they get a good amount of scholarship.

Placements:
The placement rate of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University is 80%. The placement rate is good here. The university invites different companies for recruitment, like TCS, Amazon, Infosys, Rubico, and many more. The college also has a special training and placement cell where they train students for their interviews and placements. The college also provides different types of internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel at DBUU is decent. The rooms are average. Hostels are available in double and triple sharing, and the Wi-Fi and light connection is 24/7. There is also a gym for hostel students. They can go there at specific times. The hostel food is decent. We get four meals a day with a different menu daily.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are supportive and friendly. They help us with our projects and problems. They are all well-educated and knowledgeable. Most of them have completed their Ph.D. and master's degrees. The course curriculum is also good here. We have a special team for our courses.
Other: I chose this course because of its demand. The future of data science is huge. Everyone needs data scientists for their business, so the course is good. The college also has good teaching staff. The college conducts different types of fests and functions. They also invite different celebrities, so it's interesting. They also provide different types of scholarships, like merit-based, girl child, and state-wise.

Placements: The university provides good placement offers for students like the highest package was of 40LPA and the average is 400000. The top recruiters are Like Microsoft, Amazon, Tata, Wipro and Top recruiters are of Engineering courses And their is a special placement cell in the college where different facilities trains the students for the placement and interview.
Infrastructure: The Hostel is decent here there is 24/7 Wi-Fi and electricity connection also the Hostel students can access the library till specific time they can play different sports and games in the ground and canteen is open for them till 9pm and they are not allowed to roam in the university after 7pm.
Faculty: The faculty members here are good and friendly they helps us also they all are well educated most of them have completed their Ph.D. and Masters degree. They exams are taken per semester also mid term exams are also taken between these exams also they provides the question bank to us from which we can prepare for our exams .
Other: I choose this course due to my personal interest in it also the campus is good but it needs to be renovated some building are holder. There are different types of fest conducted every year also different events semester wise also every semester the sports tournament is conducted here.

Faculty: Teachers are very Helpful and very supportive. They clear your every doubt. Yes the course curriculum is relevant and they take us for the industry visit which helps us to understand the working culture of the industry. Semester exams are moderate to pass.
Other: I choose this course to enhance my soft and hard skills. MBA allows you to improve your communication and interpersonal skills. Grafest is held every year in the campus where big singer and musicians are invited to perform. Dev bhoomi where we make future .
Placements: Our college provide total of 80 percentage of placement rate. The highest package offered to students was around 40-50 Lacs per annum and average package is 3-8 Lacs per annum. Some of recruiting companies are google, Amazon, Bajaj, daffodils, Uber etc. Almost 85 percentage of students got internship in companies like decathlon, daffodilsetc. Top roles offered are like software engineer, assistant engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college is spreaded across 45 acers of area in which we offer more than 120+ programme, we also have the biggest computer lab in Dehradun consisting of 1000+ computers for different courses. College also provide different types of hostel from luxurious one to affordable one food in canteen is average and our college also contains a hospital in it for medical treatment and also have many sports events.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and experienced and all of the faculty is very cooperative with students and help them when we needed them. Our college also provide industry integrated programs to help in our studies and gaining experience. Passing percentage of our college is above 90 percentage exams are a bit difficult but all students manage to pass mostly.
Other: I choose this course case of its reputation and demand in companies in future as well as in present and best thing about it is that I always wanted to make some games which I can make now. Our course can improve in having less assignments. Our college also hold many fest like freshers, annual fest, Christmas fest, sports meet, diwali fest and many more in which our college also invites some singer or influencers.
