Honest review of the BCA course at DIT University, Dehradun.

Placements: I am from the BCA batch at DIT University, Dehradun. In our course, around 70-80 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered ranges from 10-12 LPA. The average package ranges between 3-5 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 2-3 LPA. Many well-known companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Deloitte visit the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is good. The campus has full Wi-Fi. It has well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, and a large library with digital resources. The hostel facilities are decent and safe. The mess food is average but manageable. The canteen offers a greater variety of food. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports grounds and indoor games are also provided. Overall, the infrastructure supports the sports academy and students' lives.

Faculty: Teachers in the BCA department are helpful, qualified, and supportive. They teach in a simple manner. They explain well and are approachable for doubts. The course curriculum is updated and includes programming, data structure, database, and web development, which makes students industry-ready. If we practice regularly, then semester exams are moderately difficult. Many students pass easily with consistent study, so the pass percentage remains high.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computer coding and its career opportunities. The best thing about the course is the practical approach, lab sessions, and supportive faculty. However, placements depend a lot on individual skills, so students need to work hard on coding and projects.

Everything in DIT is good.

Placements: About 30% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company of our course. Only 20% of students got internships. When it comes to offering jobs or internships, our college is not that bad. It offers jobs to students who are really deserving. But I think according to the popularity of the college, they do not provide as much as they can.

Infrastructure: Labs are good but sometimes there are issues. Classrooms of some buildings are small. The Wi-Fi connection is good. The library is okay. Our college is located in a very good location. It has a good library. It is very peaceful for students to study or discuss. The food in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and easy to approach. All the teachers are highly knowledgeable. The pass percentage is 30%. Semester exams are quite difficult and okay. They are not easy. Students need to study for the exams well to pass and get good CGPA.

Other: Fests are amazing. The best thing about my course is that we do not have much pressure and we get to learn new skills.
