Good college ethically which enhances one's knowledge.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Sc. in Zoology, and it's not completed yet. I found that it's a diverse course for gaining and enhancing more knowledge. Many students got good earning source passed out from our department. It's a really good experience.

Infrastructure: In our Zoology department, we have excellent labs, projector to enhance learning, and AC classroom. We have our playing kits to spend our spare time. The hostel facilities are also well adapted, and the food given in hostel is good. We have a playground to play and roam around in our free time to relax our minds.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, and they help us in every possible way. They are well qualified, full of knowledge, and supportive. They are very good as an individual person. This course curriculum is really relevant and it makes the students ethically strong and knowledgeable. The semester exams are pretty good, and it's not that hard if study consistently.

Other: I have chosen this course as I find this subject very interesting and exciting. Everyday is a new learning experience. I think overall the infrastructure is good. But it would be better if it maintained more properly as some labs are still old. Extracurricular activities are very excellent in this college as besides studying, all these enhance one's character.

The college is very satisfying and comfortable.

Placements: 80% of students pass our Zoology course. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA, with many other facilities. Our top recruiting companies are BAARC, Dibrugarh University, and other universities. Almost everyone gets an internship after the 2nd year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and cleanliness of our college are the best among all the colleges in Assam. It is the cleanest and best-maintained college. It has very neat and spacious labs and classrooms. We have the best digital library. It is very good for science students.

Faculty: Let me tell you honestly. Teachers are sometimes rude, but they are very supportive and understanding. They teach you very well. The exams are decent, the questions are very intellectual, and the practicals done by the teachers are good and help you a lot.

Good college life and helpful faculty members!

Placements: No campus placement is offered. It just a normal degree college. However, students pursuing the course are selected for Masters degree in different state and central universities. You may apply for normal graduate jobs after completing the course. Many students are placed in government services and some others have opted for higher studies. You may also apply for Zoological Survey of India, trainee positions for internships.

Infrastructure: The department hosts 2 laboratories for undergraduates. The laboratory facility is average. There is a also a museum for museum specimens as any other Zoology Department. Laboratory is well-equipped for the undergraduate curriculum of Zoology. No Wi-Fi facility is given to students. Classrooms are far better than Laboratories. Classrooms have support for audio-visual teachings. There are 2 separate classrooms for undergraduates, one is air conditioned and the other is not, both supports audio-visual smart learning. Sometimes, laboratories are also used for normal lectures depending upon the need of teacher. DHSK college hosts a boys hostel, namely Dimbeshwar Chaliha Boys Hostel (DCBH). Hostel facility is average. No Wi-Fi in hostel. Food quality is also average. It is like a average government college hostel in India. Hostel seats are less, so you may or may not able to get the accommodation. Canteen is also near the hostel, canteen is below average. No medical facilities are available except for first-aid treatment. Sports facilities are decent. There is a badminton and volleyball court common for all college students. There is also NCC facility offered to students.

Faculty: Teaching quality is very good. All the teachers are highly qualified in their respective field. Student to teacher ratio is very good. B.Sc. Zoology is a normal degree course, surely it doesn't help in industry placements. But you can opt for higher studies in good universities like BHU, DU, JNU after giving their respective entrance exams. You can also apply for normal graduate jobs, teachers are helpful and guides you well. The evaluation system follows the UGC CBCS system. There are 2 Sessional Examinations and one End Term Final Examination. Sessional exams carries 20% weightage and End Term Examination carries 80% weightage. Pass marks is 40% in both sessional and End Term. Exams are easy, just like any normal undergraduate exams.

Other: Initially I chose this course for my comfort in the subject. But later it gave me exposure to the various fields of Biological Sciences. Now I want to pursue my career in the field of Animal Biotechnology and Biochemistry. Currently I'm doing M.Sc. Life Science, Biochemistry specialisation. The laboratory facilities should be better. Also Wi-Fi connection in hostel and campus would be nice. The campus is near the Dibrugarh Town, the college is awesome. There are various campus events throughout the year. Extracurricular activities include NSS and NCC. Sports Week is also held every year. College also participates several youth festivals for inter college competitions.
