The Library of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) Bangalore is regarded as one of the best scientific and technical libraries in India. It is known as JRD Tata Memorial Library. The library has a total collection of about 500000 documents, which includes books, monographs, bound volumes and periodicals, thesis, standards and technical reports. The library has been using the LIBSYS an Integrated Library Management software for its functions such as Acquisition, Cataloging, Serials Control, and Circulation. It has also an online access through WEB-OPAC.
