Doon Business School- Preview.

Placements: Good companies like Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Jockey, Zara, V-Mart, Airtel etc. Have visited the campus and have recruited students. The placement is really good if the student is willing and a bit capable. I also got placed last month and I am truly happy and satisfied with it. The average placement for this batch might be approximately 5-5.5 till date. The highest have gone for 12 LPA till now, hoping for more and better. Companies comes for diverse roles like operations, marketing and sales, logistics, HR and finance. As far as I have noticed, the finance and marketing students have ample opportunities with good placements from top companies.

Infrastructure: As I did not opt for hostel, I cannot comment on it. But me and my friends used to visit the mess for lunch and trust me it was good. It wasn't oily and was fresh and tasty too. Wi-Fi is provided to the students although we are not allowed to use phones in the classrooms. There are two huge libraries containing large number of books related to every sector one would love to read about. Newspapers are given to the students and even Stock Market news are displayed in the main building. There are number of sporting amenities and infrastructure available in the campus. One can also be a part of sports club and freshen up their mind after their hectic classes schedules.

Faculty: I would give a ten on ten for the faculty members because I myself have been guided and supported by them every time I needed it. Teachers in Doon Business School are highly expert in their own sectors and carry immense experience in their core subjects. The course and curriculum taught are practical and make a student industry ready. There is more of industry and corporate relevant talks inside the classroom more than the bookish stuffs. In PGDM, there are end-terms every three months and a mid term in middle of these three months. Questions are mostly practical.

Other: I chose PGDM mainly because it more deals with the practical related stuffs. I enjoy studies which is more relevant and real in nature. I don't intend to say that other courses don't provide such but PGDM is completely about this and DBS fulfilled it. I joined this college in the midst of corona pandemic still DBS tried its best to keep up with every extra-curricular activity. I have not attended any fest except fresher's but have heard that the fests are amazing. My best experience till date in DBS is the experience in IIM Rohtak. It is a programme added in our curriculum and it really brings out the best in you.

Good value for money, depending upon individual capacity one can do great.

Placements: 100% placement was done. the highest salary was 24 lacs and the lowest 4 lacs. Top recruiters were educational institutions, banks, brokerage companies etc. About 95% students also got internship from my course, quite good internships as well. Maximum 15000 stipend was offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided are good. 24 hours electricity. Well maintained infrastructure. Good classrooms. Hostel is nicely constructed. Quality of food is average. Sports such as basketball and football are promoted more. Medical facilities are average. Canteen is nice.

Faculty: Faulty is well educated and helpful to guide the students. Teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry requirements and they try to bring in as much practical knowledge as they can. Also make us aware about different languages like French.

Good faculty as well as average infrastructure.

Placements: Not sure but approximately 90% got placed. The highest last year was 23 lac p. a whereas average was 4 lac p.a. top recruiting companies are IDFC bank, extramarks, Uniqlo, hdfc bank and many more. top roles offered in our course is of Management trainee, brand manager. Not sure but approximately 80 % of students got internship in our course in PGDM global.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good. there are well-equipped, fully AC classes. computer labs are there. library is provided. medical facilities are average. there are many sports and games like basketball, football here. college take us for trekking also and there are many extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful as well as qualified if you are facing a problem you can go and ask teachers any time. they are very helpful. teachers teach all the practical aspect and we have qualified teachers at DBS. yes, they make us industry ready through teaching us about new software used in industry.

Other: I chose this course because it gives us exposure to learn new things.

Superb Experience at DBS! Best Management Institute in North India.

Placements: All the students who appear or opt for campus placements get easily placed. More than 160 companies visited the campus and most students got 3-4 job offers in hand before deciding as to which company will suit them the best. Companies come from a range of 4 lacs to 25 lacs CTC per annum.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and well established computer labs, free wi-fi on campus. The hostels are fully furnished. 3 girls hostels and 2 boys hostels. Meals are served 4 times, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks & Dinner. Meals are served in various courses- South Indian, North Indian, North Eastern etc. 24 hours medical facility is there, hostel rules are well designed and attendance is mandatory. Laundry happens twice a week at very nominal yearly rates.

Faculty: The faculty is highly educated & experienced. They are so helpful that they are more like friends than teachers. College introduces new age certifications every year to keep the curriculum highly exhaustive. Certifications like SAP, Six Sigma, Data Analytics, Big Data, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing are very much in demand in the corporates.

Other: PGDM is better than MBA any day. You get to learn subjects which no university can cover, syllabus is very dynamic. There are so many assignments, deadlines but they all teach you how to handle corpo0rate pressure. Events & activities are really amazing. Manfest covers celebrity night, DJ Night, Corporate Roadies, Brand Aid (Start ups activity), Investrix (Finance), Devil's Advocate (Public Speaking) & many more activities.

If a student wants a PGDM degree within budget. Its the best college to take admission.

Placements: Placements were good according to the fee structure. Many companies come for placements and startups too. The average package in this college goes around 3 lac per annum. The highest package in the batch was 5 lac per annum. CDC department is in the college for placements but they don't do that much help.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not up to the mark as a business school. There are some particular things which a business school must have and this college as an infrastructure lacks those things. Wi-Fi facility is not good, the library is not open for 24x7, quality of the food is not good, hostels are average for a business school.

Faculty: Teaching quality is average. Some teachers put their 100 percent efforts in teaching and some don't. All they do is completing the syllabus. No industrial experience is provided. The curriculum for PGDM changes every year but the method of teaching remains the same.

Other: Every year fest, events, occurs. International tour is included in the course.
